Hey Fam!

It’s your favorite Chef here, Chef Bri! I’ve been missing in action for a while because I wanted to really rest and focus on finishing my master’s degree. I’m happy to announce that I am a graduate of Memphis Theological Seminary. I graduated with my Masters of Arts Christian Ministry specialization Christian Education. In the coming days you will see more posts about how you can eat with us! I’m hosting cooking classes, the food truck will be out, and so much more.

If you’re reading down this far it’s important to note that we’ve separated the meal preps and cheesecakes into their own separate businesses. Lamont’s Kitchen will be used for catering, cooking classes, & meal preps. While Not Yo’ Average Cheesecake will be used for all things cheesecakes.

So …. One of the things I’ve been working on is separating the meal preps and cheesecakes into their own individual businesses & I’m introducing and redefining 😮‍💨🫣.

Closing our brick and mortar building this year has been the BEST thing that could’ve happened to me this year !!!! 🥰🥹

Not Yo’ Average Cheesecake - We embrace the unconventional, daring to push the boundaries of traditional cheesecake flavors. Our innovative spirit fuels our passion for creating extraordinary, one-of-a-kind cheesecakes that stand out in a world of ordinary desserts. Oh and not to mention we have added a fully online “cheesecake bar” for you to shop and get your extraordinary cheesecakes shipped right to your door ! Launch 🚀 date is tentatively October 7, 2023 ——go follow the new cheesecake business for all the updates….

Lamont’s Kitchen - Will be a full service meal prepping/ catering service ONLY. We will relaunch Lamont’s Kitchen November 4, 2023 for the holiday season. Our plan is to jump start your health journey by using Chef Bri’s personalized meals that has been tried and tested to achieve overall health. Just imagine healthy, delicious, and luxurious meals on your dinner table each night! I’ve improved our systems so that meal planning, grocery shopping, and eating is no longer a household struggle !

Today today today …… So for the past few months I’ve been working trying to find ways to avoid this BUT here we are … We outgrow our former ghost kitchen space and we were stuck with a STRICT deadline that I fought over and over again, BUT sometimes God has other plans. It’s many layers to the process, and I can’t wait to see how we bounce back! So, with that being said we’re closing the store down for the month of March and AS SOON as we finish the ghost Kitchen process we will reopen! I fully trust in God & I’m grateful for the rest I hope to get these next few weeks while we work behind the scenes.I can’t wait to serve you all again soon! At the end of October we started phase two of the building buildout and it was a time of TEST, TRIAL, AND TESTIMONY‼️‼️ 📍Every door that was shut felt like a hit to my, gut…. BUT it was necessary‼️ So, cheers to November, because it’s execution time‼️ We’re just getting started ‼️‼️‼️
