Hey Fam!

It’s your favorite Chef here, Chef Bri! I’ve been missing in action for a while because I wanted to really rest and focus on finishing my master’s degree. I’m happy to announce that I am a graduate of Memphis Theological Seminary. I graduated with my Masters of Arts Christian Ministry specialization Christian Education. In the coming days you will see more posts about how you can eat with us! I’m hosting cooking classes, the food truck will be out, and so much more.

If you’re reading down this far it’s important to note that we’ve separated the meal preps and cheesecakes into their own separate businesses. Lamont’s Kitchen will be used for catering, cooking classes, & meal preps. While Not Yo’ Average Cheesecake will be used for all things cheesecakes.

So …. One of the things I’ve been working on is separating the meal preps and cheesecakes into their own individual businesses & I’m introducing and redefining 😮‍💨🫣.

Closing our brick and mortar building this year has been the BEST thing that could’ve happened to me this year !!!! 🥰🥹

Not Yo’ Average Cheesecake - We embrace the unconventional, daring to push the boundaries of traditional cheesecake flavors. Our innovative spirit fuels our passion for creating extraordinary, one-of-a-kind cheesecakes that stand out in a world of ordinary desserts. Oh and not to mention we have added a fully online “cheesecake bar” for you to shop and get your extraordinary cheesecakes shipped right to your door ! Launch 🚀 date is tentatively October 7, 2023 ——go follow the new cheesecake business for all the updates….

Lamont’s Kitchen - Will be a full service meal prepping/ catering service ONLY. We will relaunch Lamont’s Kitchen November 4, 2023 for the holiday season. Our plan is to jump start your health journey by using Chef Bri’s personalized meals that has been tried and tested to achieve overall health. Just imagine healthy, delicious, and luxurious meals on your dinner table each night! I’ve improved our systems so that meal planning, grocery shopping, and eating is no longer a household struggle !

Let’s talk about our AMAZING venue where the Build Builders Expo will be held. If you’re not familiar with the you’re definitely missing out!
They are power house for resources, community, and in my experience tons of laughs! During the Expo the Salvation Army will highlight their services.

I bet you didn’t know they feed the community hot meals twice a month FREE, they have emergency financial services, you can volunteer, they are sending kids to summer camp and the list goes on …..

So, when I say their will be resources their will be RESOURCES ‼️‼️

The Build, Builders Expo is a one day business expo that will STRENGTHEN builders! The vision was birthed from my extensive study of Nehemiah ! Nehemiah rebuilt an entire wall in 52 days because He had instructions from the Lord‼️‼️

So, God allowed me to create an expo not only for entrepreneurs to sell their product, but you will receive instructions AND assistance with their business SAME DAY!

Today was a Berry Good Day in Humboldt celebrating the 85th annual strawberry festival. It was so fun to meet everybody & thanks so much for your hugs & congratulations on becoming the First Female Firefighter in Humboldt. I LOVE HUMBOLDT y’all are seriously family & I LOVE IT ! I loved seeing all of your kiddos most asked can they ride on the fire truck and the answer is yes “ish” lol … ( you can bring you and your family anytime for a tour of the station we would love to show y’all around.)

One of my favorite parts of the festival was seeing my FOREVER FRIENDS from the ! 🍓

Today today today …… So for the past few months I’ve been working trying to find ways to avoid this BUT here we are … We outgrow our former ghost kitchen space and we were stuck with a STRICT deadline that I fought over and over again, BUT sometimes God has other plans. It’s many layers to the process, and I can’t wait to see how we bounce back! So, with that being said we’re closing the store down for the month of March and AS SOON as we finish the ghost Kitchen process we will reopen! I fully trust in God & I’m grateful for the rest I hope to get these next few weeks while we work behind the scenes.I can’t wait to serve you all again soon!
