Hello August!!

Here are a few reminders for our Sweet Aroma clients:

1. Custom cake availability is extremely limited. Please do not wait until the last minute. Only a deposit secures your order.

2. Hours are limited this month as we transition to our new location. Please check website and social media for weekly updates regarding hours.

3. We have a chocolate chip cookie sale going on right now! Grab a dozen or two on the website!

4. Our tentative ReBrand opening is 9/8/23. We will let you all know if anything changes.

5. The only 2 ways to secure your order from the weekly menu is by ordering at www.sweetaromabakedit.com or coming to the studio.

ATTENTION: We are still having a small celebration but we have to eliminate some of our plans because of the storm😩. Many of the vendors I was utilizing had to cancel yesterday due to lights and damages around their homes and businesses (when I said the celebration was still on Monday I was just excited our lights were back on and totally forgot so many others were still without power) AND the entire purpose for having this all out celebration is to thank our customers for choosing us for 10 years and with many of our customers being affected by this storm, I don’t want anyone to feel like they missed out and the beautiful thing about a business anniversary as one of my business buddies told me- they can be celebrated all year!!

What Saturday will look like:
1. A major sale on all things Sweet Aroma! Cookies, jars, classes, acrylics, party packages.
2. We will be open from 12pm-4pm.
3. We will sing Happy Birthday (yall know Im extra and Sweet Aroma is my baby lol) and there will be free cake and ice cream while supplies last.
4. There will be a major announcement at 1:30pm.🥳
5. There will be free samples of some of our new items and a few of our most popular items.
6. Raffles for a 4th of July Dessert Platter ($1) and 2 Cake Decorating Party Packages ($5).

So stop by and see us, we are still happy to make it 10 years in business and we are going to make the best of this situation.

**So basically we are postponing the cookout and activities BUT they will be rescheduled😘.

Today we were complimented on things I feel are non-negotiable:

1. Speaking to the client or potential client upon their arrival.
2. Having a clean building.
3. Answering all questions without rushing the client.
4. Explaining what comes with the rental.

This is nothing but customer service to me. I treat people how I want to be treated when I spend my money. Simple customer service can make it so much easier to build a clientele.

If you are looking to have an event in June, July or August, you must snag one of these deals! $150 deposit secured your date and the final balance is due 2 weeks before your event.

We will have 6 of these cutting boards loaded to the website at 9am tomrrow. Perfect for a last minute, but thoughtful Mother’s Day gift. Can be picked up Thursday and Friday from 12:30 until 5pm and Saturday from 12-4pm.

If you are in need of any acrylics for next week, specifically, U of M graduation, get your form in asap. Our inbox has been jumping with U of M acrylic requests and we have a hectic next week soooo orders will likely close out by Wednesday.

May 6th will mark 8 years since our mother became our angel and what better way to commemorate her angelversary than our second, annual “My Mommy’s An Angel Cake Decorating Brunch”?! Last year’s event was absolutely amazing and it totally shocked my sister and I. Some ladies shared their stories and how they coped, other listened and asked questions but everyone felt as if someone finally got them- it was a room full of women who got each other!

Did we cry? A Little.
Was it a sad occasion? Absolutely not!

Who is this event for?
Any woman who has lost their mother, no matter how long it has been. We understand how losing that unconditional love, that first best friend (even when you were at odds lol), that one that would start World War III about you shifts your entire being. It’s been 8 years for me and I still feel like I have a hole in my heart BUT I’ve been able to put a bandage on that hole and live a life that Andrea Doss would be oh so proud of.

This year we will have 2 speakers that will discuss “Next Steps After Losing My Mother”, DrTaura Jefferson and Grief Specialist Constance Y. Terry.

And of course brunch, mimosas and decorating a cake to honor each of our mothers will be the icing on the cake.

It’s crazy how we originally started doing acrylics just for cake toppers but it has flourished into so much more! Our event planners keep us busy! We sent out 3 boxes of custom champagne glass tags yesterday, stay tuned for some new designs dropping soon🔥. And the upcoming themes some of our event planners are working on, we can’t wait!!

Good morning!!

All inquiries have been responded to. Invoices will start going out today, please remember invoices are only good for 24 hours before they are cancelled and that slot is opened unless we have discussed an alternate date. Invoices are sent via email, please check your email.

After these invoices are paid, I will post remaining rental availability for May. The remaining Saturdays are booked for April but we do have weekdays, Fridays and Sundays available.
