Whew!!! I tried to think of many reasons to tell you to lol
Seriously, as Planners we get the bad end of the stick alot of times. But, we always end up being the saving grace.
It serves you better to hire a planner in the very beginning. Alot of people don't understand that and then they loop us in when they are stressed and can't take it anymore. A Plus will come in and save the day...however, I like to start the process as stress free as possible. Wedding Planning should be fun!!!(Ask my Bride below) She was with me from start to finish! 🥰

~Wedding Planning Advice~

Venue Coordinator VS Day of Coordinator

THOSE ARE 2 DIFFERENT JOBS‼️

I have a VENUE Coordinator, so I do not need to hire an outside WEDDING Planner or DAY OF COORDINATOR 🚫


~First & foremost they do not create your PRE-Ceremony timeline nor do they reach out to your vendor team prior to the wedding day….You absolutely need that! 📝

~SOME, not all will send a simple email to certain vendors, ONLY to let them know rules. What happens if it's a venue that doesn't. 😳 There is also other communication that's needed as well.

~Second — they do NOT set up your personal decorations or belongings that you pack and bring for the unity ceremony, lobby, sign-in, etc. You'd most likely have to leave that task up to your friends & family the morning of. What if they are unsure of what to do and bother you with questions? 🤯(sidenote- this is more of a Planners job and not Day Of Coordinator)

~Last but not least — VENUE Coordinators are there to monitor the venues needs and will check in with the client but most of the time they will not know all the personal details unlike an outside Wedding Planner/Coordinator would. 🤓

~Having a VENUE Coordinator is such a perk… but having a Personal Wedding Planner + Coordinator to handle all the fine details, create your full wedding day timeline, and execute a flawless wedding is HIGHLY needed.✨

~I personally love working at venues that require a Wedding Coordinator because we both tackle different tasks on the day of the wedding & it creates a beautiful flow of the day.🥂

Are you hesitant to hire a Wedding Coordinator because your Venue has one already… read this again & let me know if you still feel hesitant — do you want to handle all the communication, all the details, all the setup…?

YOU, come here! Yes, Brides to Be!

Most people that pay close attention to detail, are organized, and those that feel like they are balanced and structured will attempt to plan their own wedding. They usually hire a Day of Coordinator on the back end to handle the Day of duties.

Guess what? Maybe about 15% of Brides can pull it off. However, the bulk of you, need a planner. There is so much behind the scenes that goes into planning- pinterest, the knot, and wedding wire can not give you enough check list to figure it out.

HIRE A FULL WEDDING PLANNER GUYS. Yes, if you can't afford a full, I commend you for getting a Day Of. But, it needs to be understood that a Day Of ONLY shows up with our timeline to handle the Day of operations. So many planners, are sucked in to make sure your Day is as smooth as possible at the LAST minute, bc you already spent majority of your money on all the wrong things, when your planner could have saved you money and a headache. You guys are taking advantage of Day Of Coordinators and I am going to continue to educate you on the difference.

Hire a planner before you pick your venue.
Hire a planner before you make your first appointment for anything.
Hire a planner before you pick your wedding party.
Hire a planner FIRST.

Every single vendor will thank you for hiring a skilled wedding planner.
