Our fun and experienced adult mentors will be on hand to assist any participant during LoneTree Live's production of The 24 Hour Plays: Memphis - High School!

High schoolers - rising 9th through recent grads - can submit to participate as a writer, a director, an actor and a production assistant by FRIDAY, JUNE 6! (Extended deadline.) We want to work with people of varying experiences - so even if you're just thinking about dipping a toe in theater or you've taken lots of classes, we want you to join us for the 24 hours between 7pm Friday, June 20 through our curtain going up Saturday, June 21!

For our production of The 24 Hour Plays: Memphis - High School, we asked adult artists from our local theatre community to serve as mentors for our high school-aged writers and directors.

Our writing mentors are Domenic Michael Andolina, Eliana Mabe, and Christopher Tracy, who will guide our young writers as they work together from around 10pm June 20 to 6am June 21 to create new, 10-minute plays inspired by the actors they cast, the skills and hopes those actors bring and the props that all in our company offer for the production.

We're proud to have as directing mentors Claire D. Kolheim, Mariah Chase, and Jeff Kirwan, who will work with two of our high school directors each as they tackle the new scripts. The directors will lead four of their peer actors from 8am to curtain at 7pm June 21 and then sit back and enjoy all six plays with our audience.

Calling all Actors, Writers, Directors, and Production Assistants in High School (rising 9th-graders through recently-graduated seniors)!

Join LoneTree Live’s first production of The 24 Hour Plays: Memphis - High School, June 20-21. In just 24 hours, we will gather six writers, six directors, and 24 actors to create six original pieces to be performed at TheatreWorks at The Evergreen. This is a wonderful opportunity for students of all experience levels–whether you have performed since you could walk, or have little-to-no stage time.

LoneTree Live’s adult theatre classes offer a holistic approach, blending technique with personal exploration to create deeper connections between performers, their bodies, and their creative instincts. Both Spring 2025 classes are geared to anyone who is interested in adding to their theatre toolkit - from the novice to the seasoned artist, you will grow in your art and meet like-minded people along the way!

Introduction to Viewpoints
Discover the power of movement in performance! This introductory Viewpoints class explores space, time, and physical expression as tools for dynamic storytelling. Whether you're a seasoned performer or new to the stage, this class will enhance your presence, responsiveness, and creative awareness.
