Saying goodbye to summer and helloooo to a very busy fall wedding season.
In the next 8 weeks, I have 11 weddings, 3 set ups for sorority recruitment, 1 bridal brunch, 1 rehearsal dinner, and my son’s first birthday party! It’s about to be crazy around here, but I’m so thankful for everyone who makes this dream possible 🤍

I just got home from 5 days in Atlanta for convention. I spent many many hours doing flowers and balloons and can’t wait to show more. But for now, I need some rest!!

This “show me you as a bride” trend has me reminiscing on my own big day!
This was my face when I walked into my reception before guests arrived, seeing all of my hard work and planning come to life. I was also so excited to show it to my husband because we all know he had no clue what was planned 😂
My goal is for every bride/ couple to walk into their wedding space and be overwhelmed with this same happiness. I promise to put the same hard work and planning into your big day as I did for my own.
Also 10/10 recommend doing a room reveal before your guests arrive so you can take in all the details before the room is packed with those you love!

Fun fact: Sadie’s flower collar survived her rubbing it into the ground right after our first look 😂 so don’t be afraid of it falling apart! I make them to withstand even the craziest of pups. 🙃

2022 has been an amazing, overwhelming year for BKF! Thank you, thank you, thank you to each and every person who has booked with me or recommended me. This was our biggest year yet with 40 weddings and numerous other events. A little breakdown into what it looked like:- 306 bouquets- 364 bouts- 99 corsages- 753 centerpieces/ arrangements- 57 on site installs (arches, mantles, hanging pieces, etc)- 17 flower crowns- 1 dog collar 🙂- 29 balloon installs - And much more - With over 5,000 miles traveled to nearly 30 different venues I’m a one woman team operating out of my small home, and I’m pretty dang proud of what I’ve accomplished! ✌🏼 out, 2022, ya wore me out. In 2023, I will not be taking on as much. I’ve got 29 weddings booked and am only going to add 2-4 more. Do not wait to reach out if you are interested!
Memphis is losing a dang good doctor this weekend, and I sure will miss caring for patients with him! Happy retirement, Dr Williams!

It is a slower month around here as I have FOUR WEEKS off from weddings! I’m beyond thankful to have some time off to rest and reset before the insanity of August- December. The tasks never end as a small business owner, but several slower weeks are much appreciated AND SO NEEDED! I wouldn’t trade this for the world, but burnout is real, y’all. Give your small business owners some love.

Yesterday marked the halfway mark of the year, and I completed my 18th wedding of 2022! I still have 16 weddings to go for this year, putting the 2022 total at 34 weddings and several other events (and don’t forget, I’m still a full time nurse 😳). For perspective, I did 19 weddings total last year. I truly never expected to be here, but I love that I am. I say it often, but I’m so blessed. Building a business is hard, tiring, but oh so fun! I’m so thankful for every single person who likes and shares posts, books me, and recommends me to others. Thank you for helping build a dream. Here’s to being halfway through the busiest year to date!
