It was a wonderful day to be a foodie here at the RCC!

U.S. Food Vendors from all around the country came to demonstrate their products and give out samples of some of the most delicious food!!

The National Association for State Community Services Programs (NASCSP) was in the building this week ❗️❗️

NASCSP aims to help low-income families become more independent. They assist states in making the best use of resources to provide a wide range of services to these families.

From informative lectures to beneficial networking avenues, the day was packed full of community serving opportunities!

We love that we had the opportunity to host everyone, and are very grateful for the ability to witness the amazing work that the NASCSP does😁😁

Our wonderful sales team lead a site tour of the convention center for event leaders all across the country last week.

Along side the RCC team were Memphis Tourism's Kermit Madison and Brandon Benson, RK group's Kate Strause, and Liz Fudge from Prestige AV!

The group discussed all of the benefits of working with the convention Center, including catering, transportation, and technological aspects!

We are so happy we got the chance to show everyone what we're all about, and very lucky to have such amazing partners!!

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital unveiled their patient art exhibit at our facility Wednesday!

The exhibit features art from the patients who went through the art therapy program and created works based on their unique perspective of Memphis and experience with St. Jude.

Along with the unveiling, Sabrina Spence, a previous St. Jude patient and cancer survivor spoke and a read one of her poems! She described how beneficial being an artist was for her at St. Jude, and how its lead her to being a poet today.

The event was memorable beyond words. We would like to thank Sabrina Spence and everyone at St. Jude for such a wonderful evening and for choosing us to share your stories.

Mayor Young shared his vision and 2 year plan to restore beauty, peace, and hope in . Cleaning up blight & restoring the beauty of the city is the 1st year focus, while crime and neighborhood accountability are on the long term agendas.

We hosted Memphis Tourism’s Annual Meeting yesterday, where Mayor Young & Kevin Kane had a lot of positive news to report!

The hospitality industry in Memphis and Shelby County generated six billion dollars in economic impact last year! 🥳

Along with this, Mayor Young reported a decrease in crime, in fact it lowered to a point we haven't seen since 2022!!

We are grateful to have our Mayor leading the charge for change in Memphis! Everyone at Memphis Tourism, the hospitality industry and the convention center is inspired and ready to keep breaking records and see Memphis grow!
