When Mary Hannah and her mom first shared their vision with me, they dreamed of transforming a barn venue into something that felt elevated, refined, and romantic while still honoring the warmth of the space itself. Through layers of soft draping, lush floral installations, elegant linens, and timeless chair selections, we turned the barn into a space that felt inviting, intentional, and beautifully understated.

One of my favorite parts of wedding planning and wedding design is helping couples see beyond what a venue is and instead imagine what it can become. Grateful for the trust to bring this vision to life and celebrate such a kind and joyful couple.

Mr. and Mrs. Leatherwood 🤍
This weekend was the picture of a timeless Southern wedding weekend filled with meaning, hospitality, and love. Maddie and Joe were married at her family home beneath the oak tree her parents planted years ago and in front of the cross her father built by hand. Every part of the day carried deep intention and legacy.
Maddie and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready inside the family home, while guests gathered in the backyard for a heartfelt ceremony surrounded by generations of love and history. As the sun set, everyone moved to the front lawn where a sprawling sailcloth tent welcomed guests into a garden party reception layered with lush florals, textured linens, soft candlelight, and blue-and-white patterns that felt both refined and deeply Southern.
But beyond the beauty of the design, what will stay with me most is the kindness of the Stafford family. Their grace, warmth, and generosity made this wedding such an honor to be part of. Maddie is radiant inside and out, and the tenderness and sincerity between her and Joe was something you could feel in every moment of the day.

Thank you for trusting me to bring your vision to life and serve your family during such a meaningful season. It is a privilege I will never forget!!

One year since Kelli and Jeff’s unforgettable weekend in the Lowcountry, and I still think back on it with so much gratitude.

Bluffton, South Carolina offered the most beautiful backdrop for their celebration, with the Mansion at Rose Hill graciously holding every moment of the weekend. From a welcome party beneath a sailcloth tent, complete with a Lowcountry oyster bar and vintage buses for guests, to a wedding day beneath the weeping oaks with the gothic mansion just beyond, every detail felt layered with charm, history, and meaning.

But more than the setting, it was Kelli and Jeff who made the weekend so special. Their kindness, joy, and love for the people around them made planning their wedding such a gift.

Happy anniversary, Kelli and Jeff. Your wedding weekend will always hold such a special place in my heart.
