Hi friends! It’s Latham here. With so many new faces, I thought I’d pop in to wish you a very Merry Christmas season and share a little about myself!

Did you know I moved to Alaska in October 2023? After living in the South my entire life, our family took a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to move here, thanks to my husband’s military career. And let me tell you—we absolutely love it! I wasn’t sure how I would continue my business from so far away, but this past year turned out to be my biggest and best yet! When the foundation of your business is rooted in the right things, you can rise to any challenge and thrive.

Another fun fact: I homeschool my children! It’s something I’m incredibly passionate about. For us, homeschooling is about more than textbooks and worksheets—it’s about creating a full, vibrant childhood. It means tailoring education to their interests, making learning a lifestyle, and being present in all the little (and big) moments. People often ask me how I do it, and my answer is always the same: by the Grace of God. Even on the hardest days, I know I’ll never regret this precious time with my kids. Watching them grow in wisdom and experiencing the world together will always be my greatest treasure.

When I attended the Sinclair and Moore real wedding workshop, I stepped into a world of breathtaking beauty—nature and design working in harmony—and left with lessons that reached far beyond weddings. The knowledge I gained and the incredible people I met will stay with me forever.

One of the most profound moments came from a story shared by Lisa, a sweet and talented friend of Steve’s. She recounted a conversation with him about success. What does it mean to be successful? Is it booking ultra-luxury clients? Earning six figures? Filling your calendar to capacity? Seeing your name in a magazine?

Or is it something deeper?

Her words challenged me to redefine success in my own life. What if success isn’t just about hitting external milestones, but rather about the joy and fulfillment we find in the everyday moments?

For me, success is uninterrupted family time—watching my children’s soccer games, sharing a home-cooked meal, and laughing around the dinner table. It’s nurturing a healthy marriage and creating a life I don’t feel the need to escape from. Success is having the time and space to rest when needed.

Success isn’t about the number of followers you have or the dollar amount in your bank account. It’s not even about how many times you’ve been published. It’s about living with balance and gratitude—finding contentment while still pursuing your goals.

So today, I encourage you to pause and redefine success for yourself. Look at your life and your business and find the beauty in what you’ve already achieved. Maybe success is already here, in the small, meaningful moments you might have overlooked.

Let’s choose thankfulness for where we are—because that, too, is success.

Looking back on this magical California wedding and feeling so inspired by the whimsical colors and textures. Every detail was simply breathtaking! It was such an incredible honor to take part in this installation. From learning how to create beautiful floral arrangements to working alongside some of the most talented people in the industry, this experience was truly unforgettable. This month, I’m shining a light on the people who make everything possible behind the scenes—the ones who don’t often make it to the beautiful Instagram moments but are essential to the success of our businesses!

First up, family:
My husband, my biggest supporter and rock. I wouldn’t have this business if it weren’t for him. He encouraged me to go for it, grounds me, gives wise counsel, prays over me, and stays steady through every challenge. Forever grateful for his unwavering support.

My momma, the inspiration behind my work ethic and creativity. Watching her as a business owner, pursuing her dreams and making sacrifices, has been one of the greatest gifts. Her resilience, talent, and drive taught me so much about building a business with heart.

My sister, my constant support and the one who knows my work inside and out. She’s my biggest cheerleader, works with me like an extension of my own mind, and keeps my sass in check. She always shows up, and I’m endlessly grateful to share this journey with her.

As we move into this season of gratitude, I want to take a moment to recognize the heart and hard work that goes into each and every wedding. So much of what happens in this industry goes unseen, and this month, I’ll be highlighting some of the incredible people who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make wedding dreams come true.

As a wedding planner, I know that what you see on social media—the stunning flowers, the perfect settings, the joyful celebrations—is the end result of so many hands and hearts working together, often for months. It’s easy to get caught up in the final product, but November is the perfect time to pause, step back, and shine a light on the amazing souls who make it all possible.

I challenge each of you to reflect on your journey. Think about where you started, where you are now, and those who have shaped you and your business along the way. I’m incredibly thankful for my business, for all the learning moments, and for everyone who has encouraged me!

A perfect rehearsal dinner set by the creek on Yasmeen’s family ranch, framed by the majestic Tetons. The dress code was all white, while the bride and groom stood out in full color. Each guest table featured a homemade challah lovingly prepared by the bride’s mother, and delicate white florals adorned the space, beautifully complementing the evening’s theme.

But the highlight? A custom-made chairlift that wasn’t just decor; it was a piece of their love story. On March 21, 2023, Sam proposed to Yasmeen on chair #108 while riding Sublette— the same chairlift where Sam’s father had proposed to his mother years before. When the resort auctioned off this exact chair, Sam and Yasmeen won it. Guests found their “lift tickets” on the chairlift, guiding them to tables named after different lifts.

The evening closed with a magical procession, as guests followed a second line to the Snake River for a bonfire, s’mores, and more live music. It was an unforgettable night, filled with intentional details and love woven into every moment.
