As this year comes to a close, I’ve found myself reflecting on just how much it has held.

The incredible couples who trusted me with some of the most meaningful moments of their lives.
The places I was blessed to travel and the stories woven into each one.
The talented vendors who became collaborators, friends, and constant sources of inspiration.
The lessons learned through both the beautiful highs and the stretching, refining lows.

2025 looked different than any other year in my business and I’m deeply thankful for all it taught me. Every season shaped me, challenged me, and ultimately prepared me to step into 2026 with fresh perspective, renewed clarity, and a grounded heart.
And while I’m embracing rest and reflection right now, I have so many very exciting things unfolding for 2026 that I cannot wait to share with you all!

As I sign off for the remainder of the year, I’m doing so with intention. Slowing down, being present, and pouring into my precious children and family during this sacred Christmas season.

From my family to yours, I hope your days are filled with peace, warmth, and joy. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a beautiful New Year.

Winter in Jackson Hole has a way of making every detail feel intentional.
This intimate micro wedding editorial was designed as a study in contrast. Outside, endless blue skies and crisp white snow framed the Tetons. Inside Caldera House, a moody suite set the tone for an intimate tablescape layered in deep red hues, rich velvet textures, and black chargers that echoed the dark walls surrounding the table.

The warmth and texture of the design stood in beautiful contrast to the sleek lines and cool palette of skiing down the mountain just beyond the windows. Soft linens, layered place settings, and intentional floral moments created a space that felt grounded, romantic, and quietly dramatic against the winter landscape.

A reminder that winter weddings are not about competing with the season, but embracing it fully. From snow-covered peaks to candlelit tables, this Jackson Hole editorial celebrates the beauty of contrast and the magic that lives within it.

I wrote this in 2024, and it feels just as relevant today as it did then.

Recently, my sweet friend shared these words on her story, and around the same time Annabel with has been publishing such thoughtful, soul-stirring reflections on our industry. Both reminded me why I started writing in the first place, and why I need to keep doing it.

The truth is, the algorithm does not love long-form reflection. But we as humans do. We crave depth, meaning, and connection. Sometimes we have to stop feeding the machine and instead feed our hearts. For me, that looks like slowing down and writing, even when it is not the “right” thing to do for reach or visibility.

So I’m resharing this today as a small invitation. An invitation to pause. To reflect in whatever way feels natural to you. To remember why you do what you do, and who you are doing it for.

As we move through the Christmas season, may we lead with kindness, grace, and understanding toward one another. Those are the things that matter most, in this industry and beyond.

Come with me to the iconic Santa Lucia Preserve for the Sinclair and Moore real wedding workshop. This experience was definitely a career highlight!

Learning from Steve Moore, along with the incredible industry leaders he gathered for this workshop, was an honor. We had the opportunity to build centerpieces from the ground up, explore intentional design, deepen our understanding of business strategy, and experience the full rhythm of a real wedding install.

What made it even more special was getting to meet the kindest, most creative souls from all over the country. There is something beautiful about gathering with people who love this work as much as you do and leaving with new friendships that feel lasting and meaningful.

Still feeling so grateful for the week we spent learning, creating, and being inspired in such a breathtaking place.

There is something about black and white that reveals the heart of a moment. The laughter, the movement, the celebration… all of it timeless.

The joy and love felt at Remi and Andy’s wedding was unforgettable. Their friends and family were a beautiful reflection of the incredible people they are, and it was such a gift to witness their world come together in celebration!

As we step into the holiday season, I can’t help but think back to evenings like this welcome party in Jackson Hole, golden light, the Tetons in the distance, and families gathered around a table to celebrate a love story.

I’m sitting here looking over my Thanksgiving spreadsheet,menu, shopping list, guest list, table settings, cooking schedule… all the things that make this week both chaotic and beautiful, and I had a thought.

What actually makes a Thanksgiving table extraordinary?
Is it the perfect place setting, the flowers, the candlelight, the dishes cooked to perfection? Those things are lovely, but I think it’s something deeper.

It’s the people we gather with…
the gratitude we carry into the day…
the heart posture behind every dish we prepare and every seat we set.

Are we thankful for the chance to host?
Thankful for the privilege of preparing a meal?
Thankful for the gift of being surrounded by people we love?

I know I am.
And I hope you find a quiet moment this season to pause and truly feel the weight of all there is to be grateful for.

Kelli and Jeff’s welcome party was a true Southern dream. Guests arrived in style on a vintage 1950s Super Coach that matched the aesthetic of the evening, setting the tone for a night filled with charm and intention. As they stepped onto the grounds of the stunning Mansion at Rose Hill in Bluffton, they were greeted with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the lawn, wrapped in the glow of the Lowcountry sunset.

The evening continued with an elegant tented dinner followed by the sweetest toasts, creating an intimate and meaningful start to a beautiful wedding weekend spent with their closest family and friends.

I woke up to crisp fall air in Alaska this morning and immediately thought of this magical fall editorial in Jackson Hole, a shoot that quite literally changed my business.

There’s a lot of talk in our industry about styled shoots and how to use them, but here’s my take: honesty matters. If it’s a styled shoot, say so.

This one was a turning point for me. I had the chance to collaborate with some of the most talented vendors in the industry, create without limits, and build relationships that continue to shape my career today.

Styled shoots give you the freedom to dream boldly, refine your craft, and try things you would never attempt for the first time on a wedding day. For me, the growth, the inspiration, and the connection made it invaluable.

About Me

Thinking back to my earliest memories, I have always had a fascination with weddings. I remember asking my mom to buy me wedding magazines every time we went to the grocery store and I still have a large collection of them back at home. Over the past few years I have helped my very dear friend take pictures at weddings as her second shooter and coordinator. It is through this that my passion for weddings has been stirred once again. I absolutely love brides and have a heart to make their day as meaningful and stress free as possible! The wedding season is a time of hope for the future and excitement for all that is surrounding it. However with all the excitement comes stress from all the hundreds of decisions that must be made. Between budgeting, vendors, venues, schedules, Pinterest, color schemes, bridesmaids, family, flowers, food.... the choices and options are endless! I truly believe that with the right tools the stress of making these decisions can be eliminated. It is my passion and goal to help every bride I can thoroughly enjoy their wedding season no matter the budget. With lots of prayer, love and list making let’s make your wedding great!!
