Historical Daisy (The) built in 1902 was the ONLY Movie Theatre for African Americans. World Famous Entertainers such as BB King, Elvis Presley, etc has grace the Historical Stage of the Daisy. Randle Catron, Executive Director of Beale Street Development Corporation (BSDC) and the Daisy restored one of Beale Street most Beloved buildings. Beale Street Development Corporation (BSDC) in 1972 Received MILLIONS OF DOLLARS for the redevelopment, REVITILIZATION of World Famous Beale Street.
