THUMBTACK performed a great variety of music. It is difficult to pick a favorite one because they do so many so well. What a great night at Vertigo for everyone there and a great way to bring in 2015.

As expected... THUMBTACK filled Vertigo and performed a great night of awesome music and entertainment.
What was not expected is that there we no seats available by 7:45 for the 8:00 show. No one seemed to mind standing and the show was certainly worth it.

I have stopped downloading videos, but have to make an exception for THUMBTACK. A wide variety of incredible music including this unusual piece that you don't hear everyday. They could rock the house for sure, but they could also slow it down for some great relaxing tunes. For those who were lucky enough to hear it live... Enjoy it again !

"Shane Dar & His Loose Moral Standards" CD release night was greatly anticipated by his loyal fans. Along with great music from" Lions Mouth" of Madison and "Miss Molly"... the music was an event that will be remembered for a long time. What a great show they each put on!

Have you ever had one of those flying dreams? I had one where I was flying around Vertigo, it was quite beautiful, so thought I would share it for those who never fly in their dreams. (This is a silent dream so don't worry about the sound.

Sam Luna & the Good People perform at Vertigo for the first time.

Sam Luna and 2 of his 17 piece band gave a great mini-performance of their original music. Lots of fun was had by all. It must be scary great when the entire band plays together!

MODIFIED OPEN MIC VENUE:

FIRDAY NIGHTS will continue with performances by the areas most accomplished musicians playing classics, blues, jazz and a few surprise originals. Come on in, relax and enjoy some fantastic performance by the areas best musicians. (Open at 7PM to 10PM)
Musicians can reserve a spot on the schedule in advance or take their chance by walking in with their instruments and signing up.
Please refrain from bringing in your own amplifiers. We have a adequate sound system and board for most discerning musicians. If you need large or special equipment to be brought in, please contact Vertigo in advance. Sit and listen or get up and play... just be sure to enjoy your Vertigo experience.

NO AGE LIMIT AT VERTIGO 1894. Vertigo is a coffee shop with "restaurant" status and like many restaurants, also has a full bar. Vertigo discourages over-serving and will not allow intoxicated individuals to enter the establishment. Everyone must have a valid ID to show proof of age for alcohol purchase. Coffee, espresso drinks, chai teas, sodas and whipped hot chocolate drinks are Vertigo's specialties. Our menu includes Paninis, Hoagies, Pizza, Burritos, Nacho chips/cheese, Bagel sandwiches and Muffins etc.

It was a nice turn-out at Vertigo with lots of our friends to bring in the 2014 and the introduction of our upcoming coffee and hot-chocolate drinks. It was all made more enjoyable with the surprise of some fabulous music performances by Gabe, Terry, Russ, Hoss and Chris who all made the night very special for us all.
