Federal public lands are under threat and we need you to call your senators at 202-224-3121.

Why should Wisconsinites engage? Because this current legislation will set a new precedent on how federal public lands are sold and where those sale dollars go. There is an existing system in place that works.

A great day of fishing. It is the 35th year of Disabled and Elderly Fishing Event. We can't thank all the friends and supporters of this wonderful event. It is such a fun day for everyone that comes out. Everyone is treated to a shore lunch of fish, Beans, Cole Slaw and chips. The Fish is donated and some wonderful cookers.

Congratulations to Miss Emily who was awarded the Dunn County Fish and Game Assocation's Annual Scholarship. Our current President Dave Moore presented it to Emily at Boyceville Community School District's Award's Event on Sunday evening. Thank you to everyone that applied.

RMEF is offering a $5,000 reward to help solve this Wisconsin elk poaching case north of Black River Falls. Someone illegally killed a collared elk - one of the last breeding bulls brought in from Kentucky in 2016, and one that played a key role in establishing Wisconsin’s central elk herd. It died from a gunshot wound.

REMINDER TONIGHT, April 14th, THE ANNUAL SPRING HEARING AND PUBLIC INPUT OPPORTUNITY ~ Wisconsin Conservation Congress. Hearing starts at 6:00 p.m. at the Dunn County Fish and Game Association Clubhouse. 1600 Pine Avenue, Menomonie, WI.

The hearings happen in every county in Wisconsin on Monday, April 14th, There’s also an online option. The public is encouraged to provide input online from 7 p.m. April 14 through 6 p.m. April 16. See the DNR website for further details.
