Plan to attend the Dunn County Fish and Game Association 72nd Annual Ice Fishing Contest! Tickets are available from Club members and will be available on the ice and the Clubhouse on Saturday February 8th. You need not be present to win Cash prizes. You must be present to win Door Prizes. If you purchased tickets bring them to the clubhouse to get a door prize ticket. ONE door prize ticket for every ticket purchased. Hope to see you Saturday. Volunteers from the Dunn County Fish and Game along with the Menomonie Rifle and Pistol Club, LLC are again offering hunter safety classes this year!!

Option 1) April 15th - May 6th
Option 2) August 5th - Aug 19th

Free fishing this weekend!

Join us for our winter Free Fishing Weekend, Jan. 18-19.

most waters of the state will be open to fishing without a license, trout or salmon stamp.
Some trout waters may be catch-and-release only and some are off-limits entirely, so review information about the early trout season and the trout regulations before you head out. Check with the local fisheries biologist for any questions about specific waters. All other fishing regulations apply.

If your chosen lake did not freeze over, you can cast from shore into open water.

Many tackle loaner sites have ice fishing gear, and 12 of those are at state parks. Please note state park admission fees and trail passes are not waived as they are in June during Free Fun Weekend.

When it comes to turkey, it's time to stop thinking about leftovers and start planning for the upcoming year!

This is a reminder that the deadline to submit harvest authorization applications for the 2025 spring turkey season is 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10.

Wisconsin's pheasant hunting season is stocked with opportunity!

This year, the DNR plans to release around 75,000 birds across 80 properties throughout the state.

Depending on production levels, we’ll release pheasants prior to and after the season opens on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 9 a.m.

Remember, hunters aren’t the only ones out enjoying public lands, so be mindful of other outdoor recreators.
