Good morning to all. Today we regret to announce that The Smoking Oak will close permanently after this weekend. As you can imagine this has been a long and difficult decision for us to both face & make, but it’s time to move on.

We would like to thank our past & present employees for all their hard work over the years. Your efforts have always been appreciated. We would not have made it this far without you.

And of course, thank you to all our wonderful guests. There are so many people, families, & businesses that we need to thank that it will take another post to attempt to list them all. Just know that we are thinking of you. For almost 10 years now, it has been an honor & a pleasure to serve you. We will miss the magic of how the simple act of feeding strangers turns them into friends. It is truly amazing. We learned almost immediately that the best part of this business is the opportunity to develop friendships with our guests. You inspire us, you humble us, you drive us crazy, you make all the sweat & tears worthwhile, and you make it so difficult for us to have to say goodbye.

But we’re not done smoking quite yet — come join us this weekend! We’ll be open for lunch Fri/Sat/Sun from 11-3pm. We would love to see you and visit one last time.

And finally, what comes next? Well, please consider renting out our facility for your next gathering, meeting, or event. We have plenty of space for parties of all sizes! Give us a call to go over the options or email us at: [email protected]
