~First Look Feels~

Will you do a first look with your fiancé or do you want the first time they see you to be when you walk down the aisle?

First Look: A first look can be a more private, intimate moment between you and your fiancé before your wedding. It can also be calming to have this moment alone, especially if you are shy, or anxious about this moment being in front of all your family and friends. A first look also allows you to take pictures with each other before the ceremony while your hair, makeup, etc., are fresh and allows you to join your cocktail hour and guests sooner post ceremony.

Waiting For The Ceremony: Waiting to see each other for the first time at the ceremony is the more traditional option. This option allows your friends and family to witness this special moment, which many couples feel makes it more magical. Some people also believe it is bad luck to see the bride before the ceremony on the day of!

If you like the idea of both of these options, you can always choose to wait to see your fiancé at the ceremony and do a first look with your parents or your bridal party!

Whatever option you choose, it will be a special part of your day! Make sure you tell your photographer ahead of time so they can be sure to capture it for you!

Florals are a BIG part of most weddings. Even if you only have greenery the $ adds up FAST! The average wedding in the US spends around $1,500 on florals, with some places such as big cities multiplying that number by 10 or more! In fact, most brides end up spending about 8% of their wedding budget on the florals. This includes table centerpieces, aisle decor, bouquets, boutonnières, etc..
There are many ways that you can save money on flowers and still have the same look!
