We have freshly baked cookies for guest of the tour today 🍪

They will be doing guided walking tours until 12pm. And we’re on one of the stops!

The historical Meridian schoolhouse will also be open until 2 PM for tours.

Fun fact, my great grandma was a school teacher at one of the meridian school houses downtown meridian.

As well as Mrs. Tolleth -the original owner of this home,- housed teachers after her husband passed 🤍

To the incredible woman who’s been my rock and my guiding light throughout life.

My mom, , has always been there, supporting me every step of the way. From helping restore the historical home that houses Hidden Gem Events to lending a helping hand at our events, her dedication and love know no bounds.

Today, I want to extend a special thanks to her for all she does and for being an amazing mom.

I also want to take a moment to celebrate my Aunt , who has been a constant source of love, wisdom, and support. She’s always been there for me, offering guidance and care just like a grandma would.

Wishing all the moms out there a day filled with love, joy, and cherished moments.

May Day has always been such a special tradition for me, one that my mom taught me and that I’ve cherished every year. I love the joy of surprising our neighbors with fun gifts and spreading happiness around. 💕

This year, I’m away and unable to continue this fun tradition personally, but I have a feeling that with all the wonderful guests from past years, the May Day spirit will continue to flourish!

Our family took a big leap when we decided to restore this beautiful property and share it with the public. It's been a journey filled with love, hard work, and unforgettable moments.

Today marks four years of owning and renovating this property. While I’m usually excited to dress up and showcase this hidden gem, today I find myself grabbing a low battery camera after a nap, following a long and emotional week. It seems to capture the essence of my year.

Stay tuned - it might be a tiny renovation next door.

Witnessing my frist wedding on the porch this fall was one of the highlights I will never forget.
