🆘It’s been over a year since I launched my last challenge. LIFE was challenging enough to put a major pause on any new business ideas and tasks. I felt like I was swimming up current and couldn’t find a way to shore.

☀️As summer hit, I was so excited to be FREE of the 2+ hours of driving but I also had them home with me full-time. I’ll be honest, I did not make the right decisions. The stress of having kids all day, and my husband being out of town almost every week, created a problem with having any time to get extra things done. I felt like I’d lost my mojo to self-growth, was uninspired and checked out. 😭

✨I dig into my actions and figured out why I’m making choices I’m not happy with. I made an active decision to hang up my party hat during the week, limit on the weekends, and tackle some huge goals. My brain fog lifted, workouts improved, relationships improved, my mental state improved, sleep improved, and my drive improved.🤍

Those are 2 things that I pride myself in providing each and every time.

Results are important but even more so is enjoyment.

Let’s face it, this world we now live in has a lot that can bring us down. I feel it too, but I can always count on a a good time when people are with me smiling and sweating together.

🔥Every workout I do is different than the last. Not just the movements but the experience. Life is too short to keep doing the same thing and expecting different results.

The day after Halloween is no fun especially when it’s also a Monday. Getting 2 tired kiddos out of bed when it’s still dark outside was rough! The last few months have escalated in appointments, doctor’s visits, school activities, and other obligations that have got me wanting to hide in a corner!

I’ve been so busy that having even a moment for myself is a joke. The one thing I look forward to is my workouts and keeping my routine. Thank goodness for being able to workout at home, otherwise it wouldn’t happen!🤍

I came back from the morning drop-offs and taught the most amazing yoga class to my online peeps. My body and mind needed that time, and it shifted my whole outlook from the daunting tasks I have to do, to the power to get through them.
Sometimes our own mental health isn’t seen as a priority. Finding time for self-care can be challenging, but it makes all the difference! 🥰

The most rewarding job is to help others. I never actually feel like I’m working because it’s a gift to be part of guiding people to live healthier lives.

😎Monday marked the end of my 3-week Summer Shred program, and I am so happy to hear all the results and discoveries that people achieved. From inches lost, to energy gained; from discovering a love for lifting weights, to making achievable healthy changes to nutrition. Some even maxed out their weight supply and had to get more to lift! Seeing and feeling the results of their hard work is everything. Congratulations to all!💪🏽

⭐I also took a moment to step back and feel proud of my own journey. I took the scary path of being on my own boss a little over a year ago. No one to guide me, no one to assign me tasks, and no one to cut me a check at the end of the week. It’s not an easy journey, but perseverance and love for what I do keeps me driven through the times of self-doubt. I believe in myself, and I believe I can help others.

With 4 programs completed in the last 6 months, I’m just getting started! Summer Shred 2 is on the horizon. I’m so happy to be helping clients locally and all over the US. Teaching group fitness classes to dedicated people who show up day after day. I wouldn’t be here without you…THANK YOU! Let’s keep spreading the love of fitness even further.

It's not about weight loss, it's about feeling good in your skin!🍑

It's not a promise to look like someone else, it's a promise to love who you are and create more mindful decisions. 💜

It's about learning how to listen to your body with exercise and nutrition.💪🏽

It's about learning a balance of workouts and what to eat to fuel you best.🥗🥩

It's about not going at it alone, it's all about SUPPORT! 😊

❌A lot of my young life I tried to get rid of my b***y and thighs. The backside was too big and my legs would touch when I walked. I got teased at a young age and it sucked, but thank your Sir Mix-A-Lot for the confidence booster back in the 90's. 🤣

I know that no matter what I do, that 🍑 is going no where! I've dropped to 17% body fat before, I've gone into horrible calorie deficits. It was still there....

💥So what do I do? I OWN IT and strength train to make it stronger and more shapely. I love this body and I know that it's not like anyone else's. So is YOUR body, so OWN it!

Let's be honest, a lot of us got out of our comfort zone during the pandemic. It's time to take control and change that story. Its the stepping stone to getting back yourself, I am here for that. 👊🏽

🙌🏼Proud post moment🙌🏼

It’s been 1 year since I started my personal nutrition and exercise habit changes. It’s been lot of small steps and continual education. It took some major time to allow myself to not feel guilty about not getting cardio or an intense workout every day. To not feel guilty about eating more food and listening to my body when it craved things. 🥗🥩

Personally, I’ve never owned a scale or have any desire to change that. The reward for me is seeing my muscles develop, my sleep to become restful, my energy to become endless, my joints to feel strong, and my stress to be minimal. I’ve not only maintained my fitness level doing less, but I’ve also gotten STRONGER and can work at higher outputs for longer. 💪🏽

My biggest success is helping others do the same. This part of my journey is to support others to find the same balance.

🌊😎I am so excited to announce my next program Summer Shred! This will be a fast and furious 3-week program that will jumpstart any level of fitness. Fueled by a specific workout schedule and nutrition plan, the results will be amazing!

GOT NO TIME FOR THAT!

💥Last week I experimented with adding a bit more carbs before my workouts and it was PR city. Had my highest ever calorie burn in HIIT, most unassisted pull-ups ever, heaviest squats, and bench press.

🤍Don’t listen to the fad diets...if you workout, you’ll need regular intake of carbs. Stop 🛑 the madness!
Weight loss happens because we eat less calories than we burn off, not because of restricting a food source.

As I got older, I started teaching too many cardio classes and I didn't have time to train regularly. When I tried, my body would hurt and the results I once saw never came back. 🥵

Truthfully, I knew better but it was so hard to stop teaching classes I loved for the community I loved! Last year the universe chose for me and now weights are my PRIORITY again! 💪🏽🏋🏼‍♂️

I'm virtually pain-free, built a ton of lean mass, and got my hormones in check (👋🏼bye night sweats and insomnia!). Cardio is a friend that I now see 2 times a week, not a day. Workout smarter, not harder!🤩

Anti-fragile: Even a global pandemic won’t stop us from staying fit and doing what we love! The universe needs us to stay isolated right now, so I’m taking group exercise to a whole new level.
