Getting the most out of your venue space...
The tables for this reception were placed and set at the edge of the room, with chairs on the outside edge, and remained there the whole night. After the ceremony, most of the aisle chairs were put away so the space could be used for dancing, and so much of it!!

Oh hey! It's me again. 😂
I couldn't resist sharing this great picture of me taken at a recent styled shoot. If you swipe right, you'll see a throw back to 1996, the year I started my floral journey. Younger me would have never imagined owning her own business, but that's exactly what happened in 2021. It's never too late to pursue your dreams.
I turned 50 this year, and I love the direction life has taken me.

It’s me. Hi! I’m your florist, Jalene.

You’re going to be seeing a lot of this floral setup. It’s one of my favorites to date! Most of the photos won’t have me in them though, I’m more of a “behind-the-scenes” gal. But, here’s a little more about me…

BUSINESS:
I started JM flora in 2021 after working in retail flower shops for over 20 years. Retail flower shop design can be pretty boring, and I became obsessed with wedding work after watching floral competitions on Netflix (The Big Flower Fight) & HBO (Full Bloom)
I love it when clients ask to incorporate personal touches. I'm very sentimental and have always found joy in seeing friends and family come together to celebrate life's special moments.

PERSONAL:
Things I ❤️ - Family (husband & 3 kids, 10 siblings, mom & dad, etc.), trips with my sisters & girl friends, ocean/beach, hiking, reading & relaxing, k-dramas, 80’s music and showtunes.
Things I 😡 - Boiled spinach with vinegar (IYKYK), drivers who don’t merge at full speed onto the freeway.

I tend to like things, more than I hate them. I’m the same with people. So if we’ve met or even if we haven’t, just know that you are probably in the “like” category.
