Our Wedding Story
There has always been a plan for us to unite in marriage before we even suspected our love would blossom. My father was diagnosed with a termanal cancer in 2006 and in 2009 before he passed that Thanksgiving we had a conversation about my fathers blessings towards the man I was to marry. How would I know? I asked. He told me that he would send me a sign from heaven. He knew that I would know and the Holy Spirit would confirm in my heart that the blessings were there. The night that I met my husband I was in no mood to meet anyone. Being content with life and loving my daugher and the Lord. A friend had set up the meet and the week prior I had put my love life in the hands of the Lord. What I didnt know is so did my husband. Same day actually. With us both not knowing of each other, but praying for each other, and quite frankly not “looking” for each other we met and hit it off. Made each other laugh and the sparks were flying. At the end of our first date, set up remember, he asked me about a sparrow tattoo that I was showing off with pride because the sparrow tattoo was a memorial to my fathers passing and life. He asked if it was a sparrow. I answered yes giving no backgroud to the tattoo. He then raised his shirt sleeve and there it was, a matching sparrow tattoo! My heart fluttered and I felt the Holy Spirit overcome me. I knew right then. He was the one. My dad had giving me his blessing. My heart sings as I sit here and type this story of love and destiny. The plan had been there all along and 9 years later with three kids and a happy home here we are. The passion that we have for love and celebrating it is the reason we are in our business today. I get to celebrate love and the beauty of it everyday! Here’s to a happy life with your love! Let’s Celebrate! Cheers!
