I heard this phrase a while back and it still makes me giggle.
“You’re not Pizza.” Not everyone will like you the way everyone likes pizza.
It also rings very true. You don’t need to appeal to EVERYONE. What you need is to appeal to a small group of loyal followers.
I’ve seen it happening in real-time on social media every day. And honestly, I’m one of those people that will find some guru and literally buy into everything they sell.
Why? Because I know they will churn out good content for me. I have followed their advice and used their programs to better myself.
Next time you’re trying to grow your online presence, think about your loyal following that will love whatever pizza you give them! (except pineapple, because no one likes pineapple on their pizza.)

Hi there! It’s amazing how life throws you some lemons so you can make some sweet lemonade and then it decides to cut off your supply of lemons.
I’ve gone full circle trying to either discover my place in this world or trying to make wine out of lemons and neither was really successful.
I thought I needed to find a stable corporate job so I can go back to a scheduled environment only to be laid off 6 months after.
Wonderful, right? But guess what, I picked myself up and went back to what I know best: Marketing. I discovered this world while building my photography business over 8 years ago and now I diving head first.

When things in my life change and I can’t control them, I have one simple solution: donuts.
I sit down and enjoy a few donuts to remind myself that there are things I can control and things I can’t. It’s a life lesson I learned long ago and it still holds true today. As I savor each bite of that donut (who am I kidding, I devour it like the cookie monster devours cookies), I remember that sometimes, all you can do is enjoy the moment.
Then, I get back to work, adapting to the changes and devising a game plan to make them work for me. And if you’re not a fan of these changes (uhmmm alogrithm changes with any social media platform), that’s why my team and I are here. We’ll handle it for you while we indulge in lots of donuts.
