We've been having great luck using the ducks for insect and other pest control. They love wandering the yard and taunting Oliver. Their eggs are richer in flavor and color compared to chicken eggs and super yummy!!!

This has been a week filled with so much love and many tears!

We've had to say goodbye to a wonderful man who was like a grandpa, reunited with old friends, seven years without our Nama, and celebrating four years since our first lunch date. Spending an afternoon weeding and sitting with my thoughts has given me the opportunity to contemplate how thankful I am for all the beauty around me and am thankful I get to share some of the beauty with others.

The recipients this weekend were a wonderful young couple who exchanged their vows under a trellis piece I had so much fun creating.

Such a beautiful antique color. Not very fragrant but the color certainly catches your attention. This plant is an itoh called Hilary.
