In regard to how Grand a Central will be moving forward in these uncertain times...
😷 REAL TALK. PLEASE READ.
We wanted to take this time to reach out to our customers during this uncertain time.
The truth is, we will all be affected by Covid 19 advertently or inadvertently. At the Junction, we are doing our part, in accordance with the guidelines from the CDC and WHO, by sanitizing surfaces frequently along with our staff frequently washing their hands. We have multiple sinks stocked with antibacterial soap and we have hand sanitizer at the front desk. We can assure you we are being vigilant because this not only affects our vendors, staff and customers this affects our business as a whole. We are the “little guy”. We rely on YOU, the customer, coming in and shopping in order to stay afloat financially. As a business, we house several local small businesses under one roof. We hold their livelihood in the palm of our hand. This is how we all put food on the table, so we must be vigilant but press onward. With that being said, we want to share a few ways we are adapting to this situation and how we are addressing our upcoming SPRING MARKET. Please continue reading as we have put a lot of thought into this.
- ☎️ DID YOU KNOW that you can purchase items over the phone? See something on Facebook you like, give us a call! We can measure items over the phone, text additional photos if needed and take payment over the phone and you can pick up the item at your convenience.
- 💳 DID YOU KNOW that you can purchase gift cards online and we can mail them to you? This helps small businesses with cash flow in the interim and can help them stay afloat.
- 🌱 In regard to the upcoming SPRING MARKET on March 21-22, we will still be holding the event as many individuals have a lot of money and time invested in it. We must press onward and continue to generate income for our team and their families. We will not have the “crowds” of 200+ that is being used as the cut-off mark for cancelling events.
- 🚪 WE WILL BE CLOSED ON FRIDAY, MARCH 20 to allow our team to finish setting up for the event and to SANITIZE THE ENTIRE SHOP.
- 🧼 We will have a SANITIZATION STATION set up outside BEFORE you reach the front door. We will have hand sanitizer and gloves for anyone who wishes to use them. We will have our multiple restrooms stocked with antibacterial soap and we will have our staff members wiping down surfaces frequently during the event. We welcome all customers who wish to bring their own sanitizer, gloves or who prefer to wear any other precautionary items such as masks, etc.
- 👊🏻 We will promote social distancing and discourage hand-shakes during the meet and greet with Bre Doucette.
It is important for small businesses to stay thriving as long as we can during this trying time. We do ask, obviously, that if you are feeling unwell, that you stay home and make your purchases over the phone. But if you are feeling healthy, and are choosing to be out and about, we would absolutely love to see you!
Lastly….WASH YA HANDS AND SHOP LOCAL!
