Thank you all for another amazing Winter Prism Concert this year! Very proud of everything these students put together, whether it be in the concert, jazz, and percussion classes or the colorguard and small ensemble performances. Great work this past Friday!!

Our students have been working hard to bring the holiday spirit right to you! So come join us next week at Merritt Island High School, the concert starts @ 7PM

Come join the Merritt Island Jazz Band, Jazz Lab and Jefferson Jazz Band tomorrow at Jefferson Middle School for our Night of Jazz Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction! Dinner starts at 6 and the music begins at 7:00. See you there!!! 🎺🎵🎷🎶

2024 HOMECOMING GAME (10/25)

A couple weeks ago the band attended our Homecoming Game vs Satellite. During half-time the band played for the Homecoming Court Procession and crowning of the new King and Queen. On the court, the band was represented by their band captain James Hatten, who es**rted Freshman Princess, Izzy Delgado. Afterwards, they played their marching show for one of the last times.

MIHS Band 2024 Friends and Family Show!!!

Last Tuesday, the band put on an amazing show for the community. Though we were past MPA, the band continued to put everything they had into this performance. Students, thank you for constantly outdoing yourself show after show and continuing to prove why we earned the rating we did last week. We are incredibly grateful for this outstanding group!!

Our Fall Concert is almost here! Concert is next Tuesday the 29th starting at 7PM in the Merritt Island High School Auditorium!
Come out and support all these hard working students in their first concert of the year!!

Our annual Merritt Island Band Friends and Family Show is tomorrow!!!
Come support all the amazing, hard working students that have been practicing for this since July!
The event starts at 7:00PM in the “O” Dome

Congratulations to the Merritt Island Marching Mustangs for earning straight superior ratings at the District 10 Marching Band MPA! We are so incredibly proud of the hard work these students have put in this year. The Mustang Band continues to make Merritt Island proud, and continues the legacy of musical success that MIHS has had for a long time.

A special thank you to Phil Rodell, Amaya Favreau, Dominic Bolognese, Shane O’Leary, and Aaron Jevitt for helping out and working with our amazing students throughout the season!

We would also like to thank all of our incredible parent volunteers that helped out yesterday, and that have helped out throughout the season. We appreciate all that you do for our students!

We will be hosting a Friends and Family Show on Tuesday, October 22nd at 7:00pm in the O-Dome. Come out to support the Marching Mustangs, and get one last chance to see our show “Garden of Dreams”.

Great job to all the other bands who attended and best of luck to you all for the rest of the season!
