We are one week away from our annual Picnic in the Park. We hope you are as excited as we are. A few changes to this years event in hopes of making things a little different for attendees. We will still have the Friday night bonfire, Saturday main event and Sunday CITO. We have some great pathtags (set of three instead of a set of 5) and new this year is an event t-shirt. The shirt can be ordered via our event store and can be customized. Please be sure to order your event tags, camping, meal tickets and t-shirts asap so we can get everything ready. We will be raffling off a full weekend getaway to Sanibel Island this year, our biggest and best item yet. Thanks to those that have donated to our raffle, it helps a lot to have items for the raffle.

It is with great sadness I bring this news to you. Jeffrey Coppersmith aka cusmith has passed away. He passed doing what he loved...capping a Munzee. Jeff suffered a heart attack this past Tuesday. Kimberly Chrusciel-Phillips informed us of his passing but waited until family had been notified and was ready to post. Jeff was a great player and friend in both Geocaching and Munzee. He leaves this world as the number 1 player for capping Hotel rooms. There will be a special garden that is being created in his honor. More details to follow. Jeff you will be missed and Kimberly you will be in our thoughts.
