August mama minis are here! What’s the difference between a mama mini and our full maternity experience?

Mama minis are 1 outfit, on one backdrop, and for mama only. These 15 minute sessions include 5 images. No pre-session consults. No add ons. Just a quick session for mama to capture her pregnancy.

Get in the photos, mamas. I cannot stress this enough.

Even if it’s only 1-2 photos. You will never ever regret it. I didn’t get in the photos when my bigger kids were little. Always an excuse. I was overweight. Or didn’t like something about my appearance. And I cannot tell you how sad it makes me now that my oldest is almost an adult. That I can’t look back at moments like these.

I have a client closet you can use to put something beautiful on (that’s always included with my packages!) and I promise you that in 17 years, you won’t care what you looked like. You’ll just be so glad you have these moments.

Things I’ve realized as a home owner (and adult) the last 12 months.

I am not meant to live in a construction zone.
I do not like waiting for people to email me back.
Why are landscapers so unreliable?
Why are contractors in general so unreliable?
Get everything in writing. 823 times. Verify it all. Read the fine print. Teach your husband to read the fine print.
Don’t trust *literally anyone*
Get 2nd, 3rd, and 93rd opinions.
Very, very few people actually have your best interest in mind. So it’s generally the best if you do what is best for you. Even if other people end up offended, hurt, or mad.
Use large rock in your yard. Trust me.
Gutters. They’re more important than you think.
Wall aren’t straight. Even in new builds.
Textured walls are horrible.
Get the ceiling fans.

If you saw my story recently - you’ll know we recently had some major damage to our home (our ceiling collapsed) which unfortunately isn’t being covered by insurance.

So on top of fixing that, and replacing our entire bedroom, so much clothing, and more. We have to repair the rest of our ceiling before we can sell the house!
