Hello everyone! Its been a little while since I showed my face on my feed so here is a pic of me doing something I love and feeling absolutely empowered!

Also, can you tell that I just left my soul at my CrossFit gym after competing in a gauntlet style competition not 30 min before this photo was taken? 🤪

I honestly am always shocked and humbled at the fact that this is what I get to do for a living. When I left my full time job to pursue my own wedding photography business 6 years ago, I could never have imagined that I would be fully supporting myself and expanding into new photo opportunities, like bo***ir!

This way of creating art is so magical and even after the really hard days, I still wake up and feel giddy knowing that I get to capture all of your amazing moments!

“A fresh start isn’t a new place. It’s a mindset”

I’ve been searching for a place, a feeling, a “I’ll be happy when I get…” and so far I haven’t found it.

So with a busy few weeks before I go on a much needed vacation, I’ll be doing my best to practice mindfulness in an effort to gain some happiness.

Thankfully, having the job that I do, all be it overwhelming at times, I am granted the rare gift of exploration. Going out to the sand dunes with these two was a way for me to explore a familiar place, but in a completely new way because the couple helped make it unique to them. ♥️

It’s always funny to me to notice my posture and just how utterly terrible it is when I am photographing an event 😅 I always come home after a long wedding and ask my husband to pop my back and now I know why 🙈

The big debate in the wedding industry, when to book your vendors? In my personal and professional opinion, as soon as possible. Im talking, as soon as you know who you would love to have as a photographer, videographer, venue, you name it, reach out to them to get on their calendar.

Typically wedding photographers will book out a year to a year and a half in advance and the popular dates will book out even faster. Just think, if you are planning your wedding right now, its almost a guarantee that another couple has reached out about your same date to a vendor, with most businesses being on a “first come, first serve” basis.

This isn’t to scare you or to pressure you into booking, but as a reminder that calendars book up extremely fast and it breaks our vendor hearts to have to respond back to inquires with an “Im sorry but your date is not available”.

So I want to offer some advice that might help y’all out in the decision making process. If you know that you want a vendor, and they have your date open but the price tag might be the limiting factor, always, always, always have a transparent conversation with the vendor.

In my case I recognize that sometimes there is some sticker shock when it comes to booking and so I like to soften the blow with a smaller deposit or payment plan options because at the end of the day, if you love me and my work as a wedding photographer, why wouldn’t I want to help in any way I can? ♥️

A little throwback because these two will be celebrating a year of marriage in a few months, so why not celebrate a little early?!

On another note, any other photographers having a tough time recently? Maybe it’s just me, but man. Sometimes I am absolutely head over heels in love with this job, and then other days it’s like I’m stuck in the mud. The past month or so have been tough, I won’t lie and I am hoping that there are some sunnier days up ahead 🌼

Anyways, sending love to all of those who might be struggling and maybe this will be a good reminder to those who are struggling in silence, I’m right there along with you and we got this.

Dallene and her boo tied the knot on Friday and y’all, their backyard wedding was one for the books!! Super intimate and talk about bridal party energy! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

From minute one I could tell that every single guest was out there to celebrate whole heartedly with the soon to be newlyweds. The guys pulled out all the stops with some fire dance moves even before the reception had started and the gals surrounded Dallene with all of their love and support and some equally fire dance moves before the bouquet toss. ✨✨

Even with some bumps and stress, this wedding was glorious and I am so honored to have been a part of their day!! ♥️

Happy Tuesday loves! ♥️

I am reminiscing today on this beautiful wedding that ended up being my final wedding of 2021, and I cannot stop gushing over the gorgeous golden glow that we got during their newlywed session. ✨✨

I feel like it is always my goal to get some sun flares in newlywed and engagement photos because they are just such an extra element to the photos. 😘

The best way to get sun flares is to position your newlywed photos an hour to 30 minutes before sunset.

So if you are putting together your timeline for a wedding, it’s always best to set your ceremony start time back with well enough time to capture the ceremony and then family photos and then usually bridal party photos if you didn’t have a first look.

That way you can have plenty of time to get these warm golden vibes without rushing through. ♥️♥️

I saw a quote on a bumper sticker a couple days ago and it’s stuck with me. It said,

“Die with memories, not dreams.”

And damn that got me thinking. We travel through life wanting to get to the next thing, the next event, milestone, time period or whatever it may be and then when we get there, it’s on to the next.

Having the time to slow down and make memories is so incredibly important and I feel honored to have captured so so many memories as a photographer. I’m honesty so blessed ✨✨

Hey y’all 👋🏼 I think it’s time I reintroduced myself since it’s been a hot second since I’ve graced my own page 🙈

Y’all probably already know that I’m Elizabeth and I’m a wedding photographer based in Gilbert ♥️

What y’all might not know is that I have been a photographer in this industry for going on 6 years now 😱 and I still find it enjoyable. (Most days 😋 )

A personal fact about me that y’all might not know is that I am twin and we just celebrated our 30th birthday together! She’s the one who took this photo actually 😍

Somethings that have been on my mind lately are-

1. The reality of what it looks like being a wedding photographer long term. It’s come up, especially in the busy season, that booking with every client who inquired is unsustainable and leads to burn out.

2. Another thing is not charging what you are worth year over year as your growth and experience widens.

It’s funny to me that it’s taken as long as it has to find my niche and I honestly don’t think I’m truly there yet.

So with these two things being very present in my mind, this year I’ll be making some slight changes to my business. When it comes to booking future couples, I will be focusing more on smaller, more elopement style weddings. I’m going to try and travel more in this realm as well.

And I’ll also be putting a ton of work into expanding into the bo***ir space because I feel so deeply pulled into that direction right now. Check out ***ir if you haven’t already 😘

It has been a minute since I’ve posted on this page and we are nearing the end of January already?!

This weekend I flew to Texas to capture these cuties on their wedding day and it was so amazing! I can not tell you how great it feels to be a part of your day and there is an extra sprinkle of awesomeness when you want me to travel to wherever your wedding is taking place. ✨✨

You all know that I am a firm believer in choosing the photographer that works best for you and that sometimes means having them travel. Let me tell you, it’s worth it!! Yes maybe it costs a little extra to get us out there, but in the grand scheme of things, you’ll be so happy! ♥️

Thank you to and Mitchell for having me be a part of your wedding this weekend. I had a blast and can’t wait for you to see all the photos! Congrats again on your perfect day! 😍😍

It’s been a little while since y’all have seen my face here on my feed so here I am with my boo in Hawaii!

To those who are new to my page, welcome! I am Elizabeth and as you can tell, I am a wedding photographer here in sunny Arizona. 🌞

I have been in the wedding industry for going on 6 years as a small business and you can tack on another 3 years of second shooting. 🙈 Sometimes I can’t believe I’ve been photographing all these years but it’s great!

I got married to my amazing husband in February of 2020 and have been riding out the craziness of the pandemic with him as my rock. He has taught me so much about me and I’m thankful everyday for his knowledge of business because I’d be stumbling through this small business world a lot more without his guidance.

My favorite color is pink 💕 but you’ll find me in black athletic wear for the majority of my days 😂

It’s currently busy season and I am learning everyday how to keep myself accountable and to show up for my clients!

It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted here and that’s solely due to the busy season.

I thought last year was busy but this year has been insane! I was able to slip in a quick out of town trip to visit with a good friend and my sister but came back to a “pile” of galleries that need to go out so you’ll find me hunkered down behind my computer for the next several weeks with one final wedding this weekend!

Kailey and Garret tie the knot today and I can not wait to celebrate with them!!

Ashley and Olivians wedding was something out of a dream ✨ Tucked away in Phoenix at the Antigua Gardens they tied the know with close friends and family.

I seriously couldn’t get over how gorgeous the venue was and how cute their wedding theme was. Every detail was travel oriented and I can’t wait to share with y’all the details once I get them all edited! 😍

Wow! I can’t believe I’ve reached this milestone! I’ve been running my wedding photography business for 5 years now and as silly as it sounds, surpassing this follower count has been on my to do list. I’m so thankful to every person who has supported me on my journey all these years.

What a whirlwind of a trip 🤩

Going to the Utah salt flats has been a dream of mine for over a year now and I finally made it happen this past weekend.

It’s funny to me how much I feel the need to justify my travel. “Well I’ll go there if I can get a photoshoot set up”.

Isn’t that sort of a backwards way of thinking? It shouldn’t matter if I have a gig lined up or not. If there are places that I want to visit that is enough of a reason. 🥰

And that is just what I did and it just happened to work with two other wonderful peoples timelines and I got to photograph twice at the salt flats. Three times if you count my phone photoshoot 🙈

This wonderful lady is named Hannah, and she is a beautiful soul! I met her through my husband who played me a song of hers and I instantly fell in love with her talent. Ariana Grande vibes 1000%!!

I picked her up and during the 3 hour trip to and from the flats we chatted about everything and anything and I am in awe of her! So genuine and intelligent, beautiful and grounded! I’m so thankful she was up for my creative vision and y’all should check her out on Spotify, Hannah Aurora, because she deserves to be on the billboards y’all!!

So thankful again for this amazing job of mine that allows me to travel to dream locations and photograph wonderfully beautiful people! 🥰🥰

Being born and raised in the desert, you’d think I would be sick of it all but it’s actually the opposite.

While I love me a lush, green foresty wedding, there is something about the rich sunsets that grace the Arizona skies most evenings. 🔥🔥

Also, Brittany’s dress was just perfect with the train and buttons so you know I’m in love!! 😍

👏🏻 cutie alert 👏🏻

I can not wait to photograph Maddie and Jerry’s wedding in November based on how sweet, adorable and hilarious these two were during their engagement session.

Being born and raised in Arizona I am not used to having to deal with bugs and humidity and you know what, we go both during their session and they were champs about it!

I learned that Jerry was from a town in Michigan close to where my dad grew up and that Maddie is the type of gal to goof around and have a good time!

It’s so special to me to have gotten to know these two and like I said, I can’t wait to capture their wedding as well ♥️♥️

These two cuties wanted glam in the desert for their engagement photos! And boy did they deliver. 😍

Heather reached out to me about having an engagement session that captured high fashion glam with a stark desert background. Our first choice was Sedona for the stunning red rocks and somewhat cooler summer weather. However, the fire season kept us on our toes and when the forest service closed down the national forest, including the trail in Sedona we had picked out, we had to make some adjustments.

We pushed it back a couple of weeks and when the trails opened back up we then had to deal with monsoon season! 🙈 I want to take a moment an applaud these two for their flexibility and positive attitude through it all.

When it came down to the day of their session, Sedona was just too much of a risk so we opted for the Lost Dutchman and I think we lucked out with a pretty amazing evening.

We all braved some warmer weather and more bugs than we liked and captured this milestone in their relationship as the sun set in a most glorious way!!

In #Arizona there is a band of #horses known affectionately as the #SaltRiverHorses. This herd of about 500 horses has #diminished in #population from 500,000 in the past century. Now, while most sources state that the herd is "safe for now," the threat of them being rounded up is still a looming eventuality. Even if you've chosen a side and are steadfast in your opinions or if this is the first you're hearing of this issue, the fact remains that auctioning these horses to the highest bidder is wrong. I started taking photos when I was in middle school more so as a hobby than anything else. When I went to school, I left photography behind to try other creative things out, like dance, choir and ceramics. It wasn't until I got to college that I realized how important photos were in my life. I haven't the best memory in the world so looking back on photographs taken brings those memories back. Every photo captured mid laugh, hug, smile or even cry has meant the world to me.

I am a smiling, joking person and I strive to make everyone who seeks out my services feel comfortable in front of the camera. Knowing what its like to feel out of your comfort zone, I try every which way to make the camera the least of your worries.

So here I am. We live in a visual world saturated with social media postings and videos. I am here to help capture and immortalize your moments in time, and make them stand out from the rest, whatever they may be!
