Bocce Club In The News! Upcoming Spring Mini-Leagues!!!

Also, we are now taking sign-ups for our Tuesday and Wednesday Spring Mini-Leagues. The Spring Mini Leagues will begin on Tuesday, April 15th and Wednesday, April 16th and will run either six or seven weeks (depending on the number of teams). The cost for the mini-league is $30 for members, $40 for first-time non-members, and $50 for returning non-members.

Because of increased demand, you must pre-register for the leagues by emailing us here ([email protected]) or signing up during an Open Bocce Night. Single player? No problem - we will place you on a team (all skill levels welcome)!!!

Come roll some balls and make some new friends!!!

The Italian American Bocce Club of Greater New Orleans gathered at their headquarters in Metairie, La. for the final spring league games ahead of Saturday's championships. Six teams played on 3 courts.

Our Winter Leagues will start next and include ten (11) weeks of play plus playoffs (one or two weeks). The Tuesday League will commence on January 7th, and the Wednesday League will begin on January 8th. The cost is $50 for members, $60 for first-time non-members, and $100 for returning non-members.

Because of increased demand, you must pre-register for the leagues by emailing us at ([email protected]) or signing up during an Open Bocce Night. Unfortunately, we cannot take "walk-ups" for our Winter Leagues. The deadline to sign-up is noon on Monday, January 6th.

All ages, genders, nationalities, and skill levels are welcome for our Open Nights and Leagues! Never played before? No problem - we will teach you! Can't find someone to go with you? No problem either - we will put teams and games together as people arrive! We love our single players!!!

Italian Class at the Bocce Club - Tuesday, November 12th (6:00pm - 8:00pm)

Just a quick reminder - come learn (or practice) a little Italian at the Bocce Club next week!

We will have several advanced students from Tulane's Italian Department teach some basic phrases that will get you ready for your next trip to Italy—or to your favorite Italian restaurant!

Please join us for an Italian Jeopardy Trivia evening and stay for a home-cooked Italian meal!

On Wednesday, October 30th at 5pm, we will host an Italian Jeopardy Trivia game. Come join the fun - a $5 donation to our Roof Repair Fund is requested. Cold drinks and snacks are also available for a small donation as well. We will play until 7pm.

If you would like to join us for dinner, we will be offer a plate of Rigatoni Melanzana, Focaccia Bread, and Gelato for $10. If you would like to purchase a dinner, you must pre-order by Monday (10/28) by emailing T.J. at [email protected]. Dinner will be served at 6:30pm.
