Just a quick reminder - we have an Open Bocce Night this Thursday (December 12th), from 7 pm - 10 pm. The charge is $8 for non-members and $5 for members. Cold beverages are available for a suggested donation.

All ages, genders, nationalities, and skill levels are welcome! Never played before? No problem - we will teach you! Can't find someone to go with you? No problem either - we will put teams and games together as people arrive! We love our single players!!!

So come on down, roll some balls, and make some new friends in air-conditioned comfort!

We will have several advanced students from Tulane's Italian Department teach some basic phrases that will get you ready for your next trip to Italy—or to your favorite Italian restaurant!

Please join us for an Italian Jeopardy Trivia evening and stay for a home-cooked Italian meal!

On Wednesday, October 30th at 5pm, we will host an Italian Jeopardy Trivia game. Come join the fun - a $5 donation to our Roof Repair Fund is requested. Cold drinks and snacks are also available for a small donation as well. We will play until 7pm.

If you would like to join us for dinner, we will be offer a plate of Rigatoni Melanzana, Focaccia Bread, and Gelato for $10. If you would like to purchase a dinner, you must pre-order by Monday (10/28) by emailing T.J. at [email protected]. Dinner will be served at 6:30pm.

Open Bocce and Italian Poker - Thursday, September 26th

Just a quick reminder—we have an Open Bocce Night this Thursday (9/26), and the Italian Language Students will host a game of Italian Poker (non-gambling). The Poker Games Start at 5 p.m., and the Open Bocce starts at 7 p.m.

If you would like to play a little poker and speak some Italian, a requested $5 donation towards our roof replacement fund is appreciated (but not required).

The charge for Open Bocce (7pm - 10pm) is $8 for non-members and $5 for members. Cold beverages are available for a suggested donation as well.

Come on by the Bocce Club tomorrow to watch the Saints on a giant projection screen! We will have students from Tulane's Italian Language class here too. They will be organizing games of Italy-Opoloy (and there will be bocce as well)!

Tulane's Italian Language Students will hold several "game nights" at the Club!!! Come play Scopa, Briscola, Italy-Opoly, and Italian Poker (see attached flyer).

We hope that all of our bocce friends are safe and sound following Hurricane Francine. Thanks to our recently installed roof, the Bocce Club made it through the storm without any major issues.

However, we do not have power at the moment, so tonight's Open Night will be canceled.

We plan on being fully operational next week. If you are interested in joining our Fall Leagues on Tuesday or Wednesday night, please contact us at [email protected]. We will take sign-ups through this Sunday (9/15) and begin games next week.

Our Tuesday Night and Wednesday Night Fall Leagues start next week (September 17th and 18th) and will run for ten weeks plus playoffs. If you are interested in playing, please email us at [email protected].

Our Fall Leagues will start the second week of September and include ten (10) weeks of play plus playoffs (one or two weeks). The Tuesday League will commence on September 10th, and the Wednesday League will begin on September 11th. The cost is $50 for members, $60 for first-time non-members, and $100 for returning non-members.

Because of increased demand, you must pre-register for the leagues by emailing us at ([email protected]) or signing up during an Open Bocce Night. Unfortunately, we cannot take "walk-ups" for our Fall Leagues.

All ages, genders, nationalities, and skill levels are welcome for our Open Nights and Leagues! Never played before? No problem - we will teach you! Can't find someone to go with you? No problem either - we will put teams and games together as people arrive! We love our single players!!!
