Before and after of our last fence line to dig out and level. It’s the projects most people don’t see or understand here on our farm. Doing this keeps our paddocks from becoming a “bowl” shape and holding the water in the wet season. We are finally done with all the paddocks and can now just maintain them weekly.

Our sand delivery had been made now for a hours of moving it! Making our paddocks glorious for the summer! It takes many hours of maintenance to keep all our horses and clients happy and comfortable, it’s a labor of love!

Welcome to Cutting Edge Performance Horses! We are a full care boarding barn located in Metamora Mi. Here we treat every horse as our own and every owner as our family! Horses get their own 10’ by 10’ stall, 30’ by 70’ sand lot paddock, and a large pasture to go out with a small group of horses. Horses get fed and cleaned up after twice a day. We feed Tribute Essential K. 60’ by 120’ indoor arena and 70’ by 150’ outdoor arena for your use! Trails in woods along with cowboy course to use as well! Wash rack with hot and cold water and tack lockers for you and your horse. Laundry/bathroom for your use as well. 60ft round pen 7ft. tall for horses safety too! Message us for more info!!!

I personally want to give kudos to Cutting Edge Performance Horses. This family run business has welcomed our family, both 2 legged and 4 legged, with open arms. When we found out we had to move our horses, we searched the area to find a farm that was experienced with handling a young horse, but also one we were comfortable with our senior mare (36 years old). When we visited the farm we knew it was the right fit! The Mauzy family has the cleanest, most healthy, drama free, environment! They treat the horses as they are their own. They are easy to communicate with, and always greet us with cheerful welcomes and smiles! We are confident in the care our horses receive and never have to worry about them when we are not there.

Peppy is another awesome training horses in and I am loving how soft this little mare is. Fun fact this is Woodrow’s first offspring!

Rita is one our training horse in right now and she has come a long ways from her days of bucking.

So I am in love with this little filly by my very own boy Woodrow. This is his very first baby who is now 3 and is in training with us this month!! She is such a doll and rides so smooth just like her grandmother Dolly! Good bloodlines make a difference!!

What a beautiful ride after an awesome lesson on these two! Love these moments!
