The homestead sits on 10.5 acres with a farmhouse, barns, a pond, woods, & trails. Nicholas & Lucy Koelsch our grandparents raised 15 children at the homestead. Our grandfather was an ice man and they cut ice from the pond and stored it in the icehouse and sold ice to the towns people. He also made clay field tile & brick on the farm and also did butchering. Charles and Lorene our parents took ove

r the farm and had 7 children. In 2014 five of the siblings took over the farm and restored the farmhouse as a rentable cottage. The workshop party room which is a cozy barn with a potbelly stove can be rented for small events such as birthdays & showers for up to 50 people. We also hold weddings on the property, Airbnb & VRBO rentals. We love sharing this lovely homestead with the community for people to experience farm life!
