Hurricane Helene was not kind. I’ve put off making this post for too long. We are safe, no loss of animals, and house is intact. Much to be thankful for today. Still no power and no idea when it will be restored. So much damage to barns, high tunnels, and flower fields. This is probably season ending. But, we might have a few blooms late in the season. Will wait and see if flowers rebound. But, I must say a thing about Josie. What a hard way to begin your first season as a full time flower farmer. But, this girl is tough and resilient. The morning after the hurricane Mike and I were done. Josie was starting cool flowers to plant this fall for spring blooms. Never once have I heard her complain or get discouraged. She makes me a better person. Love you my favorite flower farmer!! ❤️❤️❤️

Our favorite fall filler, mahogany hibiscus, is showing out this week! Delivered this morning to H's Grapevine and Food World Grocery Store on Fair Rd. in Statesboro. And coming Saturday morning to Statesboro Main Street Farmers Market 🌺💐🌻🌷Bouquets are limited this week. The flowers that should be blooming right now were new transplants during Tropical Storm Debby. They were wind blown and sat in water for several days. So, they are struggling. Sorry Savannah no delivery this week. Hopeful for next week.
