Aleza is a Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of Withinsight, LLC.
She has 12+ years experience in the mental health field working with children, adolescents, and adults. Additionally, she provides clinical supervision to associate counselors. Aleza also has administrative experience working for a hospital system and a community mental health center that provides outpatient, partial care, and substance abuse services.
Aleza earned her Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling from Fordham University in New York. She has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Ateneo De Davao University, Philippines.
As an immigrant and a therapist, Aleza believes that understanding one’s story and context can be powerful in facilitating change.

Cai is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Asian and Asian American women’s history at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she researches transnational women’s activism through the frameworks of race, diaspora, and nationalism in the 20th century.
She is also involved in a public history program with @filipinaontherise and serves as a mentor for FilExcellence’s Global Mentorship Program. Cai currently works at the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University. She earned her B.A. in History from Barnard College.
🎤Cai will MC our event and is creating an interactive and educational experience around how Filipino-American History month came to be.
