Abbott Florist has been a cherished family-owned business since opening on Miami Beach over three decades ago. Romina Orozco-Encio’s family started the shop on Normandy Isle after moving to our city from Argentina, where her father had previously owned a flower shop.

More than 30 years in business has brought challenges—from economic downturns to the COVID-19 pandemic—but Orozco-Encio has overcome those obstacles. During the toughest times, she didn't just survive; she thrived by giving back. When the pandemic hit, Romina joined forces with suppliers to bring smiles and flowers to those in need.
