Ah yes, Disco Inferno @ The Cameo in South Beach. A legendary Sunday club night that I was proud to be part of the team. Gary James, Joe Delaney and Bobby Stark were the creators and promoters. The club original resident dj was DJ Justin Sane, who died tragically in a motorcycle accident. I was his opening DJ and was given the residency due to this tragedy.
I love 70's Disco and the TRASH DISCO format was new to me. But I mastered it and the sounds, lighting and videos were spectacular and world renown. We had A-List celebrities, models and locals coming out by the thousands on a Sunday night till 5am weekly. This mix is my modernized tribute to the TRASH DISCO from Disco Inferno @ The Cameo. My tribute to Bar 609 on South Beach. The years 1994 to 1998. South Beach was at its peak of coolness. The club was featured on The Real World on MTV. I was playing my favorite music in an open format, where I played from House to salsa to hip hop to disco. Here are some of my favorites remixed as only Disco on Steroids can serve up.
