What do you do when it’s been so long that you don’t know where to start or what to post ? Something old ? Something new ? Something you undoubtedly love ? Something you feel indifferent about ? I have no clue, but I suppose just posting something is a good place to start !

Sometimes things happen and life makes it so that we have to wait to get one thing or another done. Other times, many times, we get in our own heads and hold off until later when the time is “right” , when we have “more” time, when we have better this or that, or as creatives, when it’s totally perfect and we absolutely love it. I’m learning to think differently. Not there yet, but getting there.

Learning to enjoy every step of the process and learning how not to let my “perfect be the enemy of [my] good” …or better yet my done.

I may be misguided, but I don’t suppose there’s ever an instance where an incomplete/unfulfilled perfect plan would trump a perfectly executed good plan.

Whew! The ramblings of my brain on this fine Tuesday afternoon ! 🤣

I went with something old in case you were wondering. 😉

Now go get your perfectly GOOD thing done. ♥️ ✨

Still thinking about our fall wedding season! Really, how stunning are these two ?

Jessica’s description of how large she wanted her bouquet had me like 😳.

She wanted it so large that she could knock someone over with it! Thankfully we were able to scale it back when I showed her what something that large would ACTUALLY look like and it definitely was not what she was envisioning.

Needless to say, we were able to design something beautiful, balanced, abundant and just the right ‘large’ for her frame to perfectly complement her flawless bridal look.

I took a lonnng social media break, but I’m still here ! Still flowering and being so blessed to work with the sweetest brides and most talented flower friends and vendors. It’s no secret that socials aren’t my thing, and I am happy to accept that in 2022. No more fighting it ya’ll! Whew! But I will post when I can, and pop in on days like this one to say “heyyy!” 💕

Just dropping in to say that I am still here ! So looking forward to sharing how our wedding season is going In the next few weeks!

In the meantime, let’s appreciate these little buds. Bud vases are a great way to fill a table with interesting color, texture, and movement. They are super versatile and can be fun and funky or dainty and elegant. Intentionally designed, they’re a beautifully stated work of art that get bonus points for being pretty cost effective. It almost feels like the flowers are dancing across the space.
