My set from Love & Lust in June is now on SoundCloud 🎧🎚️ Thank you to all my friends who came out to support 🫶 & Thank you for having me. This was my 2nd Love & Lust, and the vibes are always 🔥 I had the opening set 9-10:30pm. It is an art to open for just a few people, and curate as the dance floor fills up. I remember there were a few lovers on the dance floor to start, so naturally, I played for them. And as the night picked up and filled in, my set changed with the crowd of dancers before me, and even the ones who were outside 😅🖤 You all are magic ✨ Thanks for bringing your energy & smiles. Biography

Penny Lane is a Michigan born~ Brooklyn based DJ. In just a few years she’s covered a significant amount of stomping ground: From the underground (TBA Brooklyn, 299 Vandervoort, Verboten, The Rabbit Hole), to Manhattan rooftops (Gansevoort Hotel, Monarch Rooftop), to Brooklyn favorite hot spots (House of Yes, The Keep, & Ceremony). She's played for nearly every promoter in the city (Soup NYC, I Feel…, Junxion, Momentum, & Sullivan Room), just to name a few. She's also made waves in Berlin (Anomaile Art Gallery), as well as Amsterdam (speakesy houseboat parties), Miami (Wynwood Diner, Employees Only) and Burning Man (Camp French Manila). Penny is also a resident BAE Collective DJ and has been from Day 1.

She brings a kinetic combination of sounds to the dance floor: genre bending and blending tech house, experimental electronica, downbeat techno, and drawing influence from mixing breaks over four on the floor kicks. “I crave variety, humans crave variety, thats how we thrive”. You will step into her sets grooving one way, and leave feeling a new enigmatic character of yourself. She believes work should be an extension of what you are~ letting ideas flow & capturing emotional background. She draws inspiration from labels spanning anywhere from Dirtybird to Psicodelica to трип.
