Common mistake.

Serving too much alcohol.

I attended a wedding that at the end of the evening, the groom was so drunk that he made several inappropriate remarks to his new mother in law. (It had to do with her cometic surgery) I also saw a bride, maybe out of nervousness, drink so much wine, that she could not walk a straight line down the aisle, her father practically carried her down the aisle.
I have done weddings and events, were the guess thinks, the drunker they get, the better.
In some cultures, is customary to put a bottle of Vodka in each table. (I give you one guess) The art of entertaining is providing your guess with everything they need and more. Yet, I am conflicted, about serving too much alcohol at a wedding or celebration.

Been a recovery alcoholic, I do not think I am the right person to comment on this issue. I need your opinion.

Do you think is up to us, at one point doing the wedding, to deny certain guess more alcohol? How do you deal, with drunken guess?
