Dani, one of the most capable, strongest women I have ever meet. To say I’m proud is an understatement, she’s my second and I couldn’t do all of this without her. Shes grown so much. From being soft spoken and shy to becoming the boss she was meant to be. A mom of two amazing children, a pure heart and the hardest worker I know. I’m so lucky to have her by my side. While she may be reading this a bit embarrassed , someone who doesn’t like too much validation, but she deserves it and so much more.

Thank you Dani, I LOVE you !!!!

Never underestimate the impact an entrance install has on an event. This definitely heightens your guests experience and is the prefect backdrop for photos. In guests were greeted by this lush greenery arch resembling a tunnel that guests not only got to walk into but was a focal point for the perfect photos. I loved how used this area to photograph the models in their dresses.

The things my crazy little brain thinks of 💜

When tried on this dress, I was in tears. I was having a pretty rough day and seeing her in it turned it right around. I spent hours making this dress and it was worth it. Dani (our event manager) said to me “omg it’s like that dress was made for her” which I replied “ that’s because it was).

Have you ever had a connection to someone that you’ve only seen about a handful of times but it’s is if you’ve known them forever? I’ve known for quite some time now and while we have spoken a lot during the years over Instagram, technically I’ve only seen her a handful of times. What’s crazy is that we have been there for each other for the most significant moments of our lives. She was there when I proposed playing the violin, I was at her wedding and made her bouquet. Her mom even worked for me for sometime. She’s like family to me and I love this woman so much. She is so incredibly talented and as if she didn’t already have a musical gift, she now plays it while we’re dancing on a hoop. She was my muse for this dress.

🌸 Feeling an overwhelming sense of gratitude today as I reflect on the things I love most—like flowers! 🌼
Many of you know my father managed a community garden in my home state Connecticut and his love for flowers has blossomed my passion for them. But there’s more to this story. When I was young, I faced a daunting challenge with a bone disease I still can’t pronounce. After six surgeries to protect my leg from breaking, my father was always there, meeting me in my wheelchair and taking me to the garden, showing me the beauty in life even when things felt uncertain. 🌿
I’ll never forget the day my dad gave me a choice: keep going with the operations I already knew or opt for a more complex procedure with a metal brace that would relieve my fears forever. He made it clear it wasn’t easy or cheap, but if I wanted it, he would find a way. I chose the second option—and it changed my life.
My father taught me about unconditional love, resilience, and that our beginnings don’t define our futures. He always encouraged me to chase my dreams, cherish the people I love, and fill my life with beautiful moments. So today, surrounded by blooms that remind me of him, I celebrate love, strength, and the power of choice. 💖🌺

God was this even real? I came up with Miami Wedding Week almost 2 years ago and when I went on my night runs I would imagine it in my head. I was coming out of a dark place, lost in the hustle and bustle of work and I needed to find my passion again. Miami wedding week started as a way for me to make art and to make a difference in the world and my home Miami. In the process I realized something , we didn’t have the recognition we deserved as being one of the top destinations for wedding and events in the US being ranked 8th or 6th at best. Tuesday not only did my dream came to fruition but a stepping stone was created for all of us in this industry here in our home. Designers and vendors are coming from other states and bringing outside vendors when we have great talent here. Those resources should be coming back to our city and our community. Miami Wedding week is not only here to make Miami known for being one of the top destinations for weddings and events but also inspire us to be trend setting, to create art and to express ourselves with fashion, culture, music, dance and so much more. I believe in all of you and I love this city. Like I said on Tuesday night I dedicated this show to you, it’s not easy to do what we do. The pressure to take someone’s love story and make it into a fairytale but it’s time to get the recognition we deserve. I LOVE YOU MIAMI!!!

The last photo is of young me in my very humble beginnings. That bouquet in my hand was the first Bride bouquet I ever made with real flowers. While I want to cringe to my rookie mistakes I can’t help but remember how much I love what I do and how far I have come. It’s a blessing to do what you love and even though it can be hard and takes a long time it’s worth all of it.

My mom once told me in her own words “I have had to accept that you are a person who is brave and will constantly keep jumping for success and your dreams. You packed up your car and left everything you knew and made your dreams happen. Ever since then you have never ceased to amaze me. Now like I have accepted who you are , it’s time for you to do the same”. I have held those words in my heart ever since and they are more relevant now than ever.

Like most of us entrepreneurs we get caught up in the hustle and forget about our muses, our reason for doing what we do. There was a time where I really reflected what I wanted, but was too scared to make the jump. I wanted to be more than just a Floral Designer, I wanted to do more than just make beautiful moments for people getting married. Miami is a place I have dreamed about for many years and now I’ve lived here for eight years making it my home and I’m so grateful for Miami and believe in it so much . My dreams came into fruition and In the process I have realize I wanted to do more, more for me and more for my home.

That’s how came about. I believe that Miami can be one of the top wedding destinations despite what news articles say, I believe that we can be trendsetting, tasteful and are filled with talent and art. I want to thank all of you for supporting my dream and my art. My reason for being, my legacy, being remembered in the flowers. I ask that you continue to support me with Miami wedding week That will not only benefit me with my dreams but for those of us here in Miami making wedding dreams come true. Designers choice bouquet of the week, “Harvest Moon” is giving me total #fallvibes . This is one of the bouquets that come with our subscription service of florals. Even though technically it isn’t fall yet this gives us something to look forward to, don’t you think? Makes me feel like I’m drinking tea while watching the leaves fall. The truth is flowers are my escape. When I’m working with flowers I put my headphones on and disappear, or at least that’s how i feel. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve felt so overwhelmed or unhappy but the minute I get in the zone my mood changes. As if that’s not enough the outcome is something beautiful, a smile on someone’s face. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I believe I was put on this world to spread love and happiness with my talents. I’m so grateful that I have the privilege to do it.
