Sweat’s bricks-and-mortar location is at 5505 NE 2nd Ave. We’re next door to the former Churchill’s Pub on NE 55th St and NE 2nd Ave, just a few blocks west of Biscayne Boulevard. Look for the purple-and-aqua awning and the mural of our musical heroes – you can’t miss us. Store
hours are noon to 5pm Sun/Mon/Tues and noon to 7pm Wed-Sat, excluding major holidays (and if say, Björk comes to town).

Basel week in Miami is always wild and packed with shows and surprise performances all over… Last night’s Makaya McCraven show was unreal and he had Sweat favorite Brandee Younger on harp as part of his ensemble!!! 🤯 Shout to to the homies for their opening set 👏 We also caught thee and her DJ along with En Vogue (!), then ended the night with ’s gorgeous set at 🌴💜 There’s so much more happening this week so keep your eyes and ears open and enjoy all the art that comes right to our doorstep 🖼️

🥁 Night 1: An unbeatable blend of jazz and beats on vinyl. DJ Kumi and Carter Jackson-Brown of WDNA’s Brainville open for prolific drummer and composer, Makaya McCraven.
📽️ Night 2: A retrospective screening of Miami classic, The Birdcage, followed by a Drag Show featuring queens from Miami’s ultimate LGBTQ+ bar and restaurant Palace South Beach.
💿 Night 3: Magdalena Bay’s homecoming show. Electric pop artist Neggy Gemmy opens.

SWEAT RECORDS is Miami’s premier indie music store and all-ages event space. Located next door to the legendary local punk venue Churchill’s Pub, Sweat’s missions and commitment to community reach far beyond retail.
Since opening in March 2005, Sweat Records has become an institution in its own right, housing Miami’s largest selection of new vinyl as well as used records, CDs, tapes, local merch, record players, and more! Sweat also hosts a plethora of live shows (touring and local bands), and have honed an inclusive, all-ages community space since its inception.
Current COVID-19 store hours are Monday through Saturday, noon to 5pm (excluding major holidays and if say, Björk comes to town). Please note that masks are mandatory and that we’ve discontinued our coffee service. Additionally, our full new vinyl inventory and store merch are available to shop online at shop.sweatrecordmiami.com. We ship anywhere, or curbside pickup is available during store hours.
