Testing out the Cafe Brulot flambé for this weekends Underground Supperclub dinners !
This orange peel is studded with whole
cloves , and flambéd with brandy and Grand Marnier !
We add coffee , cinnamon sticks, lemon and orange zests , and sugar. This is next level Boozy Coffee !
We can’t wait !

Hello, everyone - we hope you had a wonderful summer!

As promised earlier this year, we are ready to launch our "Underground Supper Club by Watermark" - multi-course wine dinners that will be offered several times a year, and hosted in the wonderful homes of some of our favorite friends!

These intimate gatherings will be a small group of 12 or 14 guests, and will be specially-themed by Chef Maria - with plenty of time to interact, ask questions, and socialize!

The dates for the first dinner are:

Saturday - September 28 - 6pm
Sunday - September 29 - 6pm

I have 6 seats remaining for each dinner and tickets /reservations will be first come -first serve.

The September 2024 menu is inspired by The Maisonette. Chef Maria was inspired by the lovely display of the facade and entry of this iconic restaurant, which can be visited at the American Sign Museum in Cincinnati!

APPETIZERS (during cocktail hour):

Salmon rillettes on crostini; and Brie en Croute with jam and chopped walnuts

With a choice of our feature cocktail (created by Eric the Barman); prosecco; white or red wine

SALAD COURSE :

Endive-blue cheese-apple-walnuts- champagne vinaigrette
Wine: 2022 Alfred Graf Riesling Spatlese, Mosel

FIRST COURSE:

Chilled omelet crepe filled with shrimp and bay scallops served with champagne sauce
Wine: 2022 Gabriel Chevalier Bourgogne Blanc, Burgundy

MAIN COURSE:

Beef Wellington; mushroom duxelles & puff pastry
with fondant potatoes, caramelized shallots in red wine jus, haricot vert with shallot & herbed butter
Wine: 2018 Chateau Le Bourdieu, Cotes de Bourg

DESSERT:

Profiteroles filled with chocolate mousse; boozy cherry syrup, fresh berries
Served with boozy Café Brulot

This dinner will be all-inclusive, and will be an intimate affair, with a maximum of 14 guests! Plenty of time to socialize with friends as well as connect with Chef Maria!

Priced at $195/pp - all-inclusive.

We will be featuring this classic , French , boozy coffee cocktail at the Underground Supperclub dinner this month ! Cinnamon sticks , orange peel
studded with cloves , lemon peel , brandy , hot coffee , all flambéd table side and
will be paired with our delicious chocolate mousse filled profiteroles
dessert !
This is a really fun and classic experience that is a showstopper , and tastes amazing too ! We’re so excited to bring this unique experience to you at our dinners this month !

I’ve been busy doing some recipe testing for some upcoming events !
This dish will definitely be showing up on a menu before too long as it’s my new favorite thing !
Sautéed mushrooms with bourbon and shallots , Bourbon onion jam ( OMG) , Swiss cheese , all griddled on some rustic sour dough . If the grilled cheese isn’t amazing enough on its own ….. you dip it in BOURBON GRAVY ! This is mind blowing !

I had the honor today of catering a lovely backyard wedding in Miamisburg ! It was a beautiful day for a wedding , and I loved the pineapple and sunflower decorations .

Tonight’s private dinner was so special ! Sue was a favorite guest of ours and it was a pleasure to cook for her and her guests tonight ! Thankyou so much for having me and Happy Birthday to Doug , another long time guest of ours ! Cheers !
We had the Julia Child tribute omelet filled with shrimp salad .
Zucchini ribbon salad either diced tomatoes, cucumber , red onion , feta , lemon , and sunflower seeds with champagne vinaigrette .
Browned butter parsnip purée , carmalized fennel , grilled asparagus , pan seared scallops
Coca- cola braised pork cheeks with apple butter demi , over corn griddlecake with seeet corn relish
Brown sugar shortcake with poached strawberries ( lychee , ginger liquor , elderflower liquor ) candied ginger , cinnamon whipped cream .
Delicious !

Shrimp and mango ceviche with crispy plantain chips , lemon , lime and orange make this such a bright and refreshing dish for this heat !

One of my favorite dishes ! Moroccan roast chicken with roasted lemons . I toast the spices and grind them into an amazing spice rub . Chicken has crispy skin and all the flavors of the amazing spices . The lemons roast into a sweet lemon marmalade that i squeeze all over the chicken to serve . So much flavor !

Catered a super fun TIKI themed birthday party on Saturday ! We prepared our original
tiki cocktails the Hula Girl and The Foggy Bird along with a fantastic polynesian food buffet including , of course , the ever popular Spammies !
