Middle River Summerfest in Loving Memory of Donovan Ruud

Just wanted to say Thank You! What a fun day at Middle River Summer Fest! Thanks for showing up and supporting us! As many of you know, this event was being planned by Donovan Ruud who suddenly passed away on April 7. A week later Sandy Skogstad told me "We are having this event in memory of Donovan!" She didn't ask, she TOLD me! I am glad she did, it was a great idea.
I'm happy to say, most of the event went as Donovan had visioned. Hopefully, we can do it again! Thanks again to Rudy Borg, Thygeson Construction, Gordy Webber Farms, and Waterworth's Woodshop for sponsorships. Thanks to the volunteers that helped, and most of all, THANKS to all of you that came to the show! Lastly, thanks to Donovan for doing all the initial planning.

We want to bring a little laughter to Middle River Summer Fest and invite you to enjoy comedian Jason Douglas. $20 cover charge gets you in to see Jason Douglas and the Full Deck Band @ the M.R. Legacy Center. Show starts at 6 PM, Sat. June 25.

“With his quick wit and commanding stage presence Jason Douglas takes his audience on a roller coaster ride of laughs from the word go. Incorporating a barrage of “pop” culture references, funny stories, and off the wall “one liners”, you can’t help but laugh at this goofy, crazy, and original talent.

Jason’s show pulls no punches and he refuses to sugar coat anything … He tells it the way it is, the way it was, & the way it should be!

His ability to improv with the audiences makes every show a unique experience. You never know what he’ll say next!
