We loved hosting this awesome event! Yay for high quality childcare!

Two Human Services students, Hayley Bromley and Zoie Whitcomb, joined their instructor for the annual Addison County Early Childhood Legislative Gathering, where they presented before the local legislators.

The event was sponsored by the Let's Grow Kids Action Network and took place at Crooked Ladle Catering in Middlebury. In addition to a number of community members who had come for the event, several area legislators were present, including Senator Hardy, Senator Heffernan, Representative Birong, Representative Olson, and Representative North.

Student messages were well received as they discussed their pathways, accomplishments, goals, hopes, and/or future plans related to the field of early childhood education.

Hats off to Hayley and Zoie for stepping out of their comfort zone to present in the name of advancing the field of early childhood education!
