A time was had last night!!!! Nothing was going to stop us! Mother Nature just gave a small reminder of who's in charge and we love her for clearing the sky and letting us bring the Blues home!! Not to mention that BEAUTIFUL SUNSET! Thanks, lady- it was special! Gina and Johnny came out on fire! We had reports that you could hear her vocals across the West Middletown bridge!!! It was great to have Johnny Fink back with this arrangement! We haven't had him here in quite some time so it was awesome to have him! The whole band was fantastic, SUPER nice, easy to work with loads of talent! Lucky we got them because they are busy!!! Like their page and go see them! After a quick changeover, The Noah Wotherspoon Band came out and did what they do! Every single one of them are stars! Noah Wotherspoon was the very first one to play at Sounds At Sunset when we started this thing back in 2022! It's always a treat to get him! He and his band are cream of the crop! He's one of our favorite people on the planet! Nothing better than a double shot of the blues with 2 great bands that have the coolest people in them! This JUST IN!!!! Our pals over at the Middletown Division of Fire are going to come by and cool us down during the band changeover!!! We'll need it after Gina and Johnny, the stage will be smokin'! Then we'll be cooled off for The Noah Wotherspoon Band!!! WE JUST WANTED TO GIVE EVERYONE A HEADS UP SO YOU KNOW WHAT COLOR SHIRT TO WEAR! This is Adam! He's our ID checker! If you want an ice cold brew, you have to go see him first! Please have your ID ready when you do! He's really nice, we promise! 😆
Adam makes sure that everyone is responsible and legal! Super important! He's an active member of the F.O.P.A as well as The Old Glory Retirement Foundation! Adam retires flags that need to be replaced. HOW COOL is that?! If you have a flag that needs retired, please talk to him about that when you see him! He takes a lot of pride in all he does! He's also an Army veteran!!!! He's been with us from the beginning!!! He and his wife are one of several nieces and nephews of Tim Lewis. We thank you for your service all the way around, Sir!!!!!

Meet Jimmy Cummings and Lisa Cummings founders of MiddTown Music Radio! They've been riding the wave with us from the beginning! Volunteering and dedicating their time to the cause! These 2 are fierce music lovers and supporters! They are at every show taking pictures, promoting AND check this out- they do a live audio stream of each of our events! They've been able to take what we do to the masses online and share music all over the place! If you're a musician and have some tunes you want to get out there, we suggest you talk to them! We hear a lot of artists that we have come to play on their station! These 2 have been staples in the music scene and we are super happy to have them on our team!
When they're not at Sounds At Sunset you can find them at another local music event- guaranteed! Like their page!!!! It's people like them who LOVE music and have a passion to get NEW music out to the world that we all need! We 💜 you guys!!!!

We want to highlight our team over the next few days because they are AWESOME!!! Get to know some of our crew!!!! This is Chuck Turner with his daughter Christine! Chuck is our stage manager paying close attention to every detail you can imagine! He's been a dedicated member of this thing since the beginning! Always on the clock, precise and as cool as can be! He's the one making sure we're all on time, have everything set and ready AND has eyes on everything! The time keeper! When he's not at Sounds At Sunset you can find him at the Middletown Performing Arts Academy doing what he does best- managing the stage! You may also see him out on his motorcycle, flying a plane or playing bass on that sweet RICK!!!! The ULTIMATE Rush fan! His daughter in the picture is a bass player too! He's a pretty big deal to us! We're lucky to have him!!!
