Please note the Wadsworth Mansion will be closed in observance of the holidays on 12/24 & 12/25. We will operate on a limited schedule through the new year by appointment only.

Please be sure to join us at the Friends of Long Hill annual open house on Sunday, January 5th from 1pm to 4pm. FREE!

On Saturday, the chair of our Parklands Committee, Kate Plummer, with members of the Parklands Committee, Middletown Garden Club, and Rockfall Foundation planted over 600 daffodil and tulip bulbs on our grounds. They also removed invasives and poison ivy. We’d like to thank all for their time and efforts. A special thank you to Kate and our landscaper, Jim Landry, for organizing this project. We look forward to seeing many new blooms come spring!

Our Story

The Wadsworth Mansion, a nineteenth century Beaux Art style mansion, is the quintessential country estate. Graced by expansive lawns and surrounded by 103 acres of wooded parklands the Mansion reflects an era of grandeur and elegance. There are multiple locations for outdoor ceremonies and guests can enjoy cocktails and dancing on the terrace under the stars. The Mansion can accommodate two hundred guests for a seated dinner reception and larger numbers for cocktail parties. Only one event is scheduled each day and brides can select the caterer of their choice to create the wedding of their dreams. Office hours are Mon - Fri 9:30am-5:30pm. Historic tours are every Wednesday 2pm-4pm. Mansion and grounds are closed to the public during wedding rentals and private events. Wedding rental tours are available by appointment only.
