The Wadsworth Mansion, a nineteenth century Beaux Art style mansion, is the quintessential country estate. Graced by expansive lawns and surrounded by 103 acres of wooded parklands the Mansion reflects an era of grandeur and elegance. There are multiple locations for outdoor ceremonies and guests can enjoy cocktails and dancing on the terrace under the stars. The Mansion can accommodate two hundre

d guests for a seated dinner reception and larger numbers for cocktail parties. Only one event is scheduled each day and couples can select from a list of approved caterers to create the wedding of their dreams. Mansion and grounds are closed to the public during wedding rentals and private events. Wedding rental tours are available by appointment only.

On Saturday, the chair of our Parklands Committee, Kate Plummer, with members of the Parklands Committee, Middletown Garden Club, and Rockfall Foundation planted over 600 daffodil and tulip bulbs on our grounds. They also removed invasives and poison ivy. We’d like to thank all for their time and efforts. A special thank you to Kate and our landscaper, Jim Landry, for organizing this project. We look forward to seeing many new blooms come spring!

Have you been to the Wadsworth Mansion at Long Hill Estate this time of year? 🍂 Wow!! 🤩 It's a beautiful place to take an afternoon stroll and admire the fall colors!

We stopped by this afternoon and didn't want to go back to the office! 😆 We'll be there again tomorrow night for our 2nd Annual President's Masquerade Ball and hope to see you there! 🎭

Hi Friends & Neighbors,

We are aware of the recent and unfortunate vandalism on our vernal pool bridge. Please note, our landscaper has closed the bridge for safety reasons as we procure quotes to replace it. To properly monitor the area, ensuring this doesn't happen again, we added an additional security camera to the East side of The Mansion with a clear view of the vernal pool entrance from the driveway and trail cameras throughout the area. Thank you to our volunteers, Board Members and the community members who have called us expressing their support.

In the meantime, please come walk the trails, have a picnic on the lawn or take a drive through the estate to enjoy our beautiful fall foliage.

This wedding was stunning, and meticulously planned by Anh’s unique vision - pink flamingos 🦩 included. We keep saying it, but it needs to be said again and again, COVID did not cancel love this year, or fun celebrations. Here is another wedding that is proof of it! Such a fantastic day. We’re heading into engagement season and have been chatting with so many new couples who want to know how we’ve handled weddings in the time of COVID. There is something to be said about our 2020 couples. We’ve said it before, but it’s so true and we see it more with every wedding we’ve hosted. They really are resilient, they’re adapting to the guidelines, and they’re still having incredibly beautiful, amazing weddings.
