The Lincoln Park Thespian Troupe enjoyed a wonderful trip to Canada this past weekend! Our hotel was right near Lake Ontario, so some students got up early Sunday morning to watch the sunrise on the lake. The students saw La Cage Au Folles and Hedda Gabler both at the Stratford Festival this year. They also attended two different workshops on Saturday - one with the assistant costume designer for La Cage, Barbara Morrone-Sanchez, and one with the Assistant Set Designer for La Cage. Jung A Im. We were also fortunate enough to have a post show talkback with two actors from Hedda Gabler, Sara Topham who played Hedda, and Joella Crichton who played Mrs. Elvsted. The trip was topped off by our usual visit to Niagara Falls on Sunday. A big thank you to our chaperones, Mr. Raines (also the co-troupe sponsor) and Mrs. Potts-George, our Thespian officers - Ava Bardakos, Olivia DeJeet, Brielle Tucker, and Santina Traficante, for their help planning this trip, and all of the staff and faculty that helped make this trip possible!
