Say hello to David Garcia, Service Technician, and our from our Springfield, Massachusetts branch! He's been with USS for nearly six years, loves the freedom of being on a route, taking care of customers and making sure they're satisfied with his service. Being safe is a priority for David, so he's constantly surveying the conditions and adapting as needed. He loves the camaraderie with his team, whether it's celebrating Christmas dinner, working events or simply connecting at the morning huddles. David likes to look at and talk about real estate and when he's not working, he loves to go on a cruise, play bingo at the casino and watch WWE wrestling. Thank you David for all you to do to !

Operations Coordinator, Claudia Zapata, from Bakersfield, CA, is a and our this week! She's been with USS for nearly 16 years and is a master at her job, working cooperatively with technicians, sales, and the customer care team ensuring our customers get what they need. Her favorite memory is when her short-staffed team came together to make the impossible possible by meeting a customer's need - and jumping right back into their regular routes. Claudia starts each day with a prayer and a walk to work to set a positive mood for her day. When not working, she loves being outside with her mom, kids and grandbabies; her heart smiles. We're shining the on Cortney Bennett this week! Cortney is our DOT Compliance Administrator on the Safety team, enjoys working in the compliance field and making a difference on the roads. Her favorite memory with USS is flying (for the first time!) to Colorado to meet with the entire Safety team. Cortney not only loves mafia movies but she also wanted to be the next Spike Lee or Quentin Tarantino as a screen writer/director! When not making the roads a safer place, Cortney likes to read, search record stores for vinyl albums with odd cover art, bowl and spend mommy and daughter time with my kid! Thank you Cortney for all you to do make USS great!

We're proud to introduce to you another and , Joseph Mederios! Joseph is our Field Ops Supervisor in Foxborough, MA. On his way to work one day, he came across a vehicle fire with a conscious but disoriented person laying on the ground next to the burning vehicle. Joseph pulled the man to safety and remained with him until emergency personnel arrived. As a former volunteer with the Warren RI fire and rescue department, Joseph has a track record of helping those in need. When not working or rescuing someone, he loves to spend time with his daughter and boating. Joseph, for stopping to help that person, for making the world a better place and for all you do to make United Site Services great!
