Love the feel of these spring table arrangements. We added some spring colors in with sunflowers to get a perfect balance. These were made for a party for a friend. Celebrating a marriage and a big move to Hawaii. Each of the flowers we used has an expression and they seemed fitting for this send off.

Astilbe - patience & dedication
Straw flower - undying love
Sunflower - positivity & good luck
Yarrow - love
Anemone - protection against evil
Rose - perfect happiness
Delphinium - big hearted

Sometimes I buy flowers because they are beautiful, and not for any particular purpose.
I bought these flowers yesterday at the farmers market and only later in the day was it reveled to me why.
The lilac, peony and snapdragons each represent certain things.

Peony”s essence is love and honor, Lilac essence is tranquility, and Snapdragons essence is grace and strength.
The universe sure knew these flowers would be just right with their beauty and representation for their intended purpose today.

It’s so fun creating new designs with flowers and getting to enjoy them at the greenhouse.

Has the Peony ever not been the flower of the year? We have seen peonies in all shades in many of our bouquets and we are always breathless by their beauty.
Other flowers that you can expect to see in bouquets and adorning alter and table arrangements include dahlias, garden roses, lilacs, tulips, orchids, hydrangeas, and ranunculus.
Vibrant and bold wedding colors are certain to make all the photos pop in 2024.

Sleaves are back, well statement sleaves are in for 2024. Bridal gowns are sure to have them in all shapes and forms.

Mini’s will be everywhere. Mini sliders, mini hotdogs, tiny wedding cakes, sushi flights, and even personal dessert platters to name a few.

Sustainable wedding decor and favors. Donating table and event decor to local assisted living facilities and using flower petals for confetti are just a few sustainable ideas.

Live music during the ceremony. Music can make one moment so memorable. Many couples are incorporating a musician to enhance their dreamy day.

Do you have a favorite variety?

We recently watched a show about the preservation of old rose types. Varieties like heirloom, English, climbing rose and others that are hard to find.

Watching the show has put us on a mission to seek out rare and older varieties of roses.

The ultimate plan is to create a rose garden that will be available for our future weddings.
