Did you know that the venue is on a working horse farm? With some very curious horses! You can often find them walking the fence line to see what’s going on! 🐎🤍⛪️💍
This beautiful bride in particular had some big plans for the horses. The day Taylor came out to the farm for her tour she said, “On my wedding day, one of those horses will be in a flower crown!” And we made it happen! 🐎🌸🤍

✨A Kentucky Derby Wedding ✨
Saturday was so unique and special. We started off the day with a derby cocktail party, full of mint juleps and placing bets. We moved on to a beautiful ceremony full of tears of joy. Later on in the night we enjoyed a family style dinner with a romantic table setting full of magnolia leaves and candles. Last but not least we ended the night in the round barn dancing the night away under the Edison bulb lights. It was a true Kentucky wedding and we were so blessed to be apart of it!!

The round barn here at the Vintage is a cherished spot, once an old horse walker transformed into a versatile venue. On rehearsal dinner nights, it hosts intimate gatherings; during weddings, it serves as a cozy cocktail hour locale with a nearby bar and buffet. As night falls, it transforms into an enchanting dance floor, adorned with Edison bulb lights and a classic black and white checkered floor. 2024 BRIDE SCHOOL
This last Saturday we hosted our annual bride school and it was AMAZING!! All of our brides got to meet each other, hear from a panel of past brides, and look at all of the decor we offer! It was a magical day to say the least and we want to thank everyone who came out!

Every venue is beautiful in its own way and they are all so unique. Today we want to make your venue shopping a little less stressful and tell you how The Vintage Barn is different. Our beautiful chapel is one of two ceremony sites we have at the Vintage. It’s open aired feel and the bell you can ring makes it so unique. Not only is the design unique, but so is the story. One day a bride told us that she loved the barn but she wanted to get married in a chapel. So naturally we had to build her a chapel! It was one of the best decisions we made and is now a staple here at the barn! We now have the tradition of ringing the bell after you say “I do!” ⛪️💍✨

Our Story

My husband, Rob and I have owned Merefield Farm for more than thirteen years old and it is a real working thoroughbred farm! I have always loved parties, going to them, and hosting them at our home. But turning one of our barns into a wedding venue was a huge dream! It required lots of blood, sweat and tears but the dream has come true and it is everything I could have ever imagined. The minute you walk through the big barn doors you can feel the warmth. I think only good things must have happened in this old barn because everyone that comes in feels this welcoming overjoying emotion.

Wedding days are as important to me and my staff as they are for the bride and groom! No detail is ever overlooked. We want everything to be PERFECT. From the “I Do’s” to the final moments of the day, it all matters to us at The Vintage Barn.
