Seems like an appropriate day to talk about snakes! Come see us at the Elias Center this Saturday at 2 p.m. for the NJ Snakeman!! This is our most popular animal program - the big ones! Last time he even brought a cobra!! Yeah he did!! Kids are free with a paid adult ($10). Spend your morning at the Veterans Day ceremony and then come visit us!

COME SEE US SUNDAY! MAKING BEEF RIVEL SOUP, BBQ, HOT DOGS, AND MORE! The Elias Center is Mifflinburg's first church and also served as our first high school. It is an amazing building that is a great part of our history and it needs love constantly. Proceeds from our bingos will go directly to it's continued upkeep because it is basically a big barn that is constantly subjected to extreme temperature changes and we can't afford to keep the electric on 24/7 to heat/cool it. FUN FACT: The electricity for the Christkindl week alone tops out at over $800 for seven days of heat, lights and just basic electric needs. Getting these improvements finished means we can rent it out more and have more entertainment so we can generate more income to maintain it. Parking is available in the lot, in the lawn, across the street at the Weirick property, and on Fifth Street. We do have handicapped parking and accessibility. We also welcome feedback on how to get people! Are there days/times that are better or worse for people to play? We are beyond flexible!

We are ready to have some fun and you can help us support our 1806 historic building that needs lots of love!!!! Hope to see everyone!!

BINGO!! Yeah you are gonna get tired of me! How much will it cost? Well here you go.... Payouts on regular bingo are $20. $40 for specials and Early Birds. $100 for Coverall. We will accept debit/credit cards for game packages. CASH ONLY for 50/50 and food (which includes homemade soups, hot dogs, desserts and snacks). Doors at the Elias (212 S. Fifth St) open at 12:30, Early birds begin at 1:30 and bingo will begin at 2. There will be 20 regular bingos ($20), 4 specials that include a $20 regular game and special letter ($40). Last game is coverall ($100). Parking is at the Elias (you can park in grass as well), across at the Weirick, and on Fifth Street. Handicapped ramp is on east side near side shed.

FOR SALE!! MHRA has decided the time has come to sell the Elias church pews on the first floor. They are approximately 8' wide and are curved slightly. Because they were originally slotted together in another life, one side is finished and one is not. You can see that in the pics. They are in decent shape - some a little better than others. $150 a piece.
