Hard to believe it's been a week since Christkindl and Winterfest. I want to thank everyone that came out to the Elias and Fifth Street and supported MHRA and our vendors. We had a great time and the best year ever! Thanks to our amazing performers and volunteers. The Elias was rocking and people seemed to enjoy the new relaxed atmosphere. So excited for the future!

Seems like an appropriate day to talk about snakes! Come see us at the Elias Center this Saturday at 2 p.m. for the NJ Snakeman!! This is our most popular animal program - the big ones! Last time he even brought a cobra!! Yeah he did!! Kids are free with a paid adult ($10). Spend your morning at the Veterans Day ceremony and then come visit us!

COME SEE US SUNDAY! MAKING BEEF RIVEL SOUP, BBQ, HOT DOGS, AND MORE! The Elias Center is Mifflinburg's first church and also served as our first high school. It is an amazing building that is a great part of our history and it needs love constantly. Proceeds from our bingos will go directly to it's continued upkeep because it is basically a big barn that is constantly subjected to extreme temperature changes and we can't afford to keep the electric on 24/7 to heat/cool it. FUN FACT: The electricity for the Christkindl week alone tops out at over $800 for seven days of heat, lights and just basic electric needs. Getting these improvements finished means we can rent it out more and have more entertainment so we can generate more income to maintain it. Parking is available in the lot, in the lawn, across the street at the Weirick property, and on Fifth Street. We do have handicapped parking and accessibility. We also welcome feedback on how to get people! Are there days/times that are better or worse for people to play? We are beyond flexible!
