I’m considering selling dahlia tubers and cuttings CSA style again this year.

CSA members would have first choice in tubers before I load them to my website for sale. Basically you would prepay and I create a bin with your name on it. As I divide tubers I let the group know whats available and I add to your bin as you claim your tubers. When its time to ship you pay the difference based on what you owe beyond the downpayment.

These two were in my yard today. They came when I called them. They must be missed by someone who loves them, they are clearly cared for. Please help me find their family.

Found near Sandra Richardson Park between Platt road and Judd Road in York Township (Saline/Milan).

If you live in a climate with very mild winters it’s a great time to get your dahlia tubers planted so they can get established before winter.

If you’re in the hot south, now is the time to plant and enjoy dahlias!

Plenty of flowers left that survived the forecasted storms. If they don’t go home with you to enjoy, my worms and microbes in my compost pile will enjoy the beautiful treat.

Tomorrow, Ellie will put her artwork out for sale. She is very inspired to start maki money and to share her art with people. Having a pink roadside stand is just the icing on the cake!

New to Mother Hen Farms from Wilde Valley Flowers please welcome the most adorable pink farmstand!!!

We are so excited for this much needed improvement! The shelter will help keep our flowers from wilting in the sun, blowing over in the wind and being blasted by heavy rains.

Ellie is ecstatic to start selling her art, crafts, and handmade sweets. She’s completed her first painting that will debut soon and she’s finished a batch of mini chocolate donut kababs.

Thanks also to Peter of Stone Farm Dahlias in Ann Arbor for transporting our new farmstand.
