We’re back in the saddle for another extraordinary year.
If the world teaches us anything, its that time spent with loved ones is never wasted.
Love the ones you got. Give them an extra hug whether your just catching up or your partying in a full gown.
Life moves too fast.

You know it will be a fun night when Grandma kicks off the day with a Trex outfit first look prank. It's a classic.

What do fireworks, private estates, a great team, and a sprinkle of rain make? One hell of a wedding!

WEDDINGS ARE BACK!
In a big way too. They may be different than before but hey, change can be good right? For now, we’re just excited to see smiling faces, hear laughter, smell great food, and feel loud music again.
Here’s to real life! 🍾🥂
Welcome back old friend.
Autumn in New Hampshire is hard to beat.
“Love at its most granular level, is the act of consciously choosing another person every day.”

One of the best things of being a wedding film maker is the friendships we're able to make along the way. Obviously this means our couples over the course of sometimes YEARS however, we're also blessed with the most amzing vendor relationships. Every year, we have the priviledge to work at Wychmere Beach Club a handful of times and we honestly treasure the team that Lindsey has put together.
We're excited to be back on the other side of this mess!
We've been going through some 2019 films lately and it's got us thinking...what makes a good wedding film? It's a question we've asked ourself every year since we started in 2010.
There are plenty of "styles" out there that I find fall on two extremes. The first is a music video style film. This will often be very stylized in editing to the music and creating emotion. The downside is that it often doesn't have audio from the ceremony or toasts.
The other style is a film that ONLY includes taking and uses music as a simple background track. This means more personalization but often less emotion in the film.
We think both the speaking and the music should play a role. The music should be a character in your film just as much as people in your bridal party! From there, our goal is to choose highlight speaking moments from both the ceremony and reception toasts that we think complement the edit and tell more of your story.
This is a December film of Kristen and Tim that gives me "all the feels."

FILM FRIDAY IS LIVE!!! Here’s a flashback to 75 degrees and sunny, walks on the beach, and Dahlia season.
I love our consultations with brides. I usually skip the questions about colors, design, guest count etc. Typically I’ll ask them, “How do you want your day to feel?” It often takes them a second to think about it. I’ll follow up with “what do you want your guests to experience?”
This is helpful in establishing the pacing and overall vision of a film. Christina+Will’s day felt like a classically romantic summertime wedding. We were honored to be a piece of telling their story.
