We sometimes laugh when we think of how many times we have stacked these chairs (and unstacked and stacked …. You get the idea 😂)

And then we think of all the couples who have blessed us with their most valuable of days and all the people we have met !

This weekend brought tears to our eyes as we got to meet the family of our couple who were from Columbia and Ecuador , South America !

Never in our wildest dreams would we have imagined that Town and Country could have brought such wonderful people and experiences into our lives !!!

Could it BE any worse ?

We are taking a look back 7 years ago to when we started our renovation. After sitting vacant for 7 years after its life as a lumber yard had ended , our sweet little building just needed a little cleaning and some paint .
I jest of course, but since we had bookings for weddings when it looked like this and we are deadline kind of people , the 11 month renovation journey brought us into the most wonderful of experiences one could imagine .

Being there at the beginning of a couple’s Forever , PRICELESS!!!

Thank you to all of our past couples who believed and trusted in us to host their friends and family for their wedding celebration and thank you to all of our future couples we have yet to meet .❤️❤️❤️

The hair , the makeup , the beautiful dresses….the day is filled with all the things she has dreamed about .
And we have a gorgeous space for all of those activities for her.

Where do the guys go while she is being treated like a princess ?

We have a room for that too!!!

The “Mancave” is our pet name for it and it has all of the things a guy could dream of for his wedding day…
Pool table , TV/video games , and wall basketball.

What more could he want ?❤️❤️❤️

Oh what a journey we have been on that brought us to opening a wedding venue !!!!

This space introduced us to offering a place where people could gather for their events ….birthdays , anniversaries, Christmas parties .

And although it is still instrumental for those functions, it has become invaluable for Town and Country as it is connected conveniently to the venue .

This is the EVERYTHING room for our couples.

As a gift to those who book with us , this space provides the opportunity for them to hold their wedding shower at no cost.

The weekend of the wedding , the room serves to host the rehearsal supper.

And where can you put your coolers, empty boxes, extra decor, and everything else that accumulates during the weekend ? Why in this room !!!!

Extra space for the weekend, it’s a good thing 😇😇

What our eyes see on a wedding day is just a fleeting moment. The photographer is the magician that captures those moments so that we may enjoy them for a lifetime.

Baylee and I would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the photographers who have blessed us with their presence over the last 6 years.

Thank you for capturing our couple’s most precious memories while also giving us a lasting glimpse of the backdrop that we call Town and Country Events .

First it was the Mason’s meeting hall beginning in 1897, then an archery practice space, then I turned it into our family’s home, and now

The 4000 square foot space welcomes our couples and their family and friends as our solution to “where do we stay when we have our wedding at Town and Country ?” (That was one long sentence 😂😂😂)

With 6 bedrooms, kitchen, dining , and two full baths, the “Loft” as we refer to it is the perfect addition to a weekend full of wedding activities.

Wake up on Saturday morning and do hair and make up in the beautiful natural light and on Saturday night walk upstairs to retire after a long day without the hassle of travel to a hotel.

And all of this is connected directly with the venue !
