Reminder - if you need flowers for Friday, today - Jay's Florist is open 9 am to 5 pm. Please call ahead (513) 831-4422- if you want to stop and pick something up - we don't have any pre-made orders for the morning- everything is a fresh made custom day! Saturday, Jay's is open 9 am to 1 pm.
Closed Sunday and Labor Day Monday.

Also homecoming season starts in a couple weeks - please order early - or at least call and start an order, to get your name on our to-do list. We will only be able to make a limited number this fall, so please order early. Apologize for the inconvenience.

Well the rain washed out the parking lot work today - so open until 5 with regular hours. No deliveries tho with limited staff.

UPDATE...
RAIN PUSHED THE WORK BACK UNTIL THURSDAY... OPEN until 5 PM Monday - but limited staff so no deliveries...

Jay's Florist will be closed on Monday, July 22 due to repair work in the parking lot of the shop. No deliveries or pick ups will be available.

We hope to resume normal hours on Tuesday, July 23. Wednesday thru Friday will be normal hours of 9 am to 5 pm for sure.

It's been a while - but Jay's Florist wants to share the joy of flowers - bring cheer to 3 people plus 3 others! In previous contest - so many say " I would love to win so I can give to so&so" - well here are the details! We will pick 3 winners - they will be given TWO of our new Cheerful Posy Bouquet - one to share and 1 to keep. Flowers used may be different from shown - will be designed based on flowers on hand - same kind, possibly different colors.

Winners can decide on what date and time for pick up at 5679 Buckwheat Rd in Milford, Ohio. Flowers are made fresh before pick up - scheduling a time is important. We are open Monday thru Friday 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday 9 am to 1 pm.

Just a reminder as many will send flowers over websites - buyer beware of the order gatherers- FTD, even Teleflora, 1-800 Flowers, Ranch Florist, From You Flowers, Avas, Patricia's, and numerous other sitting behind computers- even the Tribute Store (on funeral home websites) - are not actual florists. They mimic local shops on their websites and make you think they are a local shop - but they have no store fronts, just a call center somewhere.

They show lowball pricing and charge numerous fees for everything- they then try to place your order with a actual local shop at the lowball price. Typically the receiving florist will refuse the order due to not enough money to make and deliver the flowers. For example - an order for 2 dozen roses at $69.95 - which is unrealistic- our dozen is priced more than that, it is refused, and unfortunately the flower recipient will not get the flowers. Disappointment and frustration for all.

Please look for a local florist when sending flowers- take extra time to investigate- the order gathers are deceivers and talk big with cheap prices - but don't deliver. If you talk to them - ask if they are actually located in not - NOT have a connections in that town.
If necessary, call us to help pick a shop with you, we want you get a reliable florist for your best buy, and avoid wasteful spending with the non florist companies.

Prom season is here - time to place your orders with Jay's Florist!

Here are some pictures of some corsages and boutonieres to show you some of corsages that we have made for orders previously.

We design and make each corsage the old fashioned way of wiring and taping - that limits how many we can make each weekend. Order early to guarantee your spot this prom season- we will close off accepting orders when we reach our limit of orders for what we can design. We try to make each corsage unique to each order. Not wanting fresh - we do have some silk corsage and boutoniere sets made ahead. Stop in and check them out.

There have been some requests for nosgays instead of corsages- these need to be ordered 2 weeks ahead for the flowers to get ordered.
