Just over here making pretty things. There is a lot of darkness happening for so many people I love and the only thing I know to do is make art. It's my way of spreading a bit of joy into the World & hope it ripples out.
I know life is a series of ebbs & flows, but I want to do my best to make people smile, to find hope, to still see the magic that exsist around us.
Over the next year, I am going to focus on the joy in operating this business. We will have kitchen dance parties and share our laughter with you all. Life & business are too short to be stressed out all of the time.
We are here to be joy-makers!
This has got to be a good life! In all honesty, we are facing some big decisons now that we know for sure our building is being demolished. My stomach is in knots, but my faith is strong.
When it gets a bit overwhelming, I stop and look at the beauty of what we do and remember that no matter what, we create beautiful, edible, art. And thanks a dream come true. #

Today, was gloomy for our brides, however, I couldn't get mad when is saw this lighting!

Many amazing things have happened to get you were you are right now. Right now is the "something amazing" you dreamt of 6months ago.
It can be challenging to remember that on days with staff call-outs, equipment repairs, product outages, and days that seemingly never end. But is "something amazing" because those moments push us to grow, to change how we operate, to create a new checklist, to PIVOT our plans. It is in the weeds that we push forward and make the next step to a new level of amazing.
